Yeah to the left. I moved over to the other side in the second half. Theres only so much watching young lads in chinos and deck shoes sing about an air disaster I can take!

This, along with the Munich chants, songs about Alonso being a murderer, Klasnic a rapist and Lee having slitty eyes and eating dogs, left a pretty unsavoury taste for me. Yeah its football, Im a bloke, Ill go to games and get leathered and have a sing along - but Ill never get involved in stuff like that. Wonder what some of our players think about our support at times.
Please tell me you are joking.

Blimey, that sounds vile (apart from telling Pratley he's shite. Someone has to).

I don't travel away much but went to the Villa match in April & was, initially, sat by some real neanderthals.

It's Comprehensive education where the fault lies. I blame Shirley Williams ! ... & Darren Pratley, of course.

Nope, just a few in a long catalogue of rubbish I heard out of an element of support that turned up yesterday. The same group who were singing Coyle's name one minute then singing "thats why we went down" and "we're not very good" the next

Sound an odd bunch. Afraid to say in my experience that there has long been an extraordinarily high percentage of neanderthals in our support. Yes Pratley is bobbins but there are lines between criticism and outright abuse.

Ultimately berating a player in a friendly is pretty ridiculous. Bloke did it when I was at Rochdale couple of seasons back cos Elmander refused to chase a ball that was already out of play. The ignorant gave him a load of abuse, Elmander turned round did a confused gesture at him, then went on to be our top scorer that season. Folk wonder why players don't have loyalty....cos dickheads think its fine to call them all the names under the sun in pre-season fecking friendlies!

Hardly going to motivate a struggling player is it?

Agree with most of this, but let's be honest, a fully motivated Pratley is still likely to struggle!

Pratley had a few decent games at the end of last season, didn't he? I don't rate him but I think he's a pretty useful player, just because he's busy and can run all day. He's never going to be more than that but he has a use and I think he's fine as a squad player.

He got a "large gash on his thigh" against Spuds in the replayed cup match & we didn't see him for the rest of the season. Insomuch as his performances had been Sooooooo poor previously that probably helped us.

I've had a large gash on my thigh & can attest to it putting me off football for a while.

Lawrenson just pwning Coyle for not playing Sordell last season.

What has the world come to when Lawrenson actually has a point about your own club?

Has Sordell done much in this game? I only just started watching. I thought he did pretty well against Senegal.

No logic in taking him off at half time (unless down to injury  ), was having a stormer. Stuart Peace is a prick.

If he'snot injured,I'm glad he's been taken off, saves him getting an injury, as it looks like we are gonna be relying on him a lot next season
