I've tried that approach, but then you have to do lots more research. What's the weather like, Any travel advisories, what's the nightlife like yadda yadda. Decisions, decisions.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:W4E. Just get a map, close eyes and randomly pick somewhere. As long as it isn't Syria you'll be reet

My pick of Mexico was about the same price, but it's rainy season.

Can we come to watch the flogging ... or is it restricted to family, friends & Owen Coyle ?Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Vital for holiday success! Managed to get hold of some beer despite lack of alcohol licence.Worthy4England wrote:

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

First day back in tomorrow after two weeks Off. Accordingly, I shall raise this glass of (early) bedtime milk to you and bid you all a sound and peaceful goodnight.

Just this moment emailed in (along with posting accompanying hard copy) my letter of resignation to the school i teach at part time. They have messed me about ever since i returned from maternity leave and i just couldn't take it anymore.
Feel nervous yet relieved.
A bizarre combination.
Huge thanks and a big hug to Bobo who has been a massive help and support through it all. xxx

Best of luck gg
When they get you in tomorrow, as they undoubtedly will, don't forget to drop the odd dark hint about having spoken to your legal advisor

In that case, GG, you have made the best of choices. Whatever transpires never, ever, castigate yourself for that decision. Take that feeling of relief and embrace it wholeheartedly; the nervousness is normal - who isn't nervous when facing an unknown situation? Just don't let that nervousness become a stress factor - it won't if you remember, but don't dwell on, the situation from which you have 'escaped'. When I have met situations where nervousness has seemed to become predominant I have managed to convert that emotion to excitement; a new frontier, a new challenge, a whole new world of opportunity!Gooner Girl wrote: . . . i just couldn't take it anymore. . .

Thanks lads. Went into work and popped the hard copy of the letter through the schools letterbox then legged it back to the car before anyone could see me. Not heard anything yet...Dujon wrote:In that case, GG, you have made the best of choices. Whatever transpires never, ever, castigate yourself for that decision. Will you be the keynote speaker or just go as an ordinary pervert? Actually I assume it means uses for left over crap from blast furnaces not ladies of easy virtue which you also find in Vegas. Are you in that business?Bruce Rioja wrote:I've just been sent an invite for The 8th Global Slag Conference & Exhibition - Las Vegas
