Re: The New Kit Thread
Apologies if this has been posted before but I can't be arsed flicking through the pages.... is the new kit going to be sold in Sports Direct or basically anywhere other than the club shop? I went in there the other day and my eyes nearly popped out when I saw the £45 price. It's a nice looking kit but £45? Come on.

Get in on the team photo, who's in?
Participation in the Biggest Team Photo requires participants wear the new official Bolton Wanderers adidas 2012/13 home or away shirt for the event

The past few season's I've been amazed how hard it is to get a BWFC shirt compared to any other team in the prem, not just the big teams, your Fulhams, Wigans, Stokes, etc. Now they're making it even harder? Obviously, the club gets more money if we all spend the maximum money and don't go through a middleman. Do they not think more people would buy them if there was competition and they were available slightly cheaper from a larger number of outlets? Any other clubs doing this?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Re: The New Kit Thread
I'd rather put my money into my club, rather than give it to Newcastle (Sports Direct) or something. Just depends whether a fiver off (for example) is a deal breaker or not.

I preferred last season where we all got free shirts

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

That's basically what it comes down to. And I suspect that even if the club wanted them to, Sports Direct and the like would be pretty unwilling to bulk buy a load of stock with a greater risk of it being left unsold.NiceHotCuppaTea wrote:I'd rather put my money into my club, rather than give it to Newcastle (Sports Direct) or something.
