Re: Mens' Olympic Football.
I'm starting to wonder if he slags managers off in the changing room or something? Or maybe he tells them he can't be arsed playing for a full 90? What can seriously justify being 4th choice behind Davies, Ngog and Klasnic who, let's face it, are all terrible (apart from Davies on occasions is decent) and being taken off after a great 45 minutes for team GB?Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Subbed after a good half, clearly Pearce is a idiot, how to wreak someones confidence in 15minutes!

Interestingly Lawrenson thinks Ramsey is playing really well.
When in fact he is toilet so far.

Do we know - the sides that get amongst the medals, does every member of the squad get one regardless as to whether they've played or not?

Hmmm - he's a striker, non? Surely great would involve hat-tricks n things, or setting up a couple of tap-in's?
He had an ok game, heading towards decent. Certainly not bad. He was subbed off for Sturridge who scored a great goal.

Re: Mens' Olympic Football.
Thought we'd blown it when they scored. Decent side with some fast, tricky players and our high line defending, not for the first time, was just asking for the fast through ball. Not being disrespectful but, when they came on I thought they'd raided the local drama company wig and beard box.

Fair enough I'd think.

Re: Mens' Olympic Football.
Typical south american tactics, clog everybody then scream like girls when they get touched. Never did like Suarez to start with. Would like our lot to want the ball a bit more. Too much back-passing and getting shut as soon as challenged. Our corners and people standing flat footed are annoying. Get somebody running forwards and attacking the ball. Come on GB.

Thought we played well last night. It was a bit boring at times, but we outplayed them in possession, just lacked that final ball.
I wasn't impressed with Uruguay though. Not one bit.

Re: Mens' Olympic Football.
So you are saying that a manager who has Sordell at his disposal, but only uses him for half a match, is an idiot ??Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Stuart Pearce doesn't know how to pick a team.... Sturidge is playing shit, leaves him on... Sordell played well takes him off... guys a idiot!
... & one who has him & uses him for about 30m over 5 months would be ??????????????

So yeah Marv's obviously pissed somebody off, Sturidge has been poor and done nothing up front and yet Marv's not moved from the bench.... what a joke, pointless the lad even going to the tournament!
