You're right. I just think that it's not so easy to find that Holden, Muamba formula. Bit more than just putting two grafters together.

Be interesting to see what happens, I think we will get away with 4-4-2 more this season even with the players we have. But still need the 5 in midfield option at times, with a proper sitter in front of the back four!

Afobe has signed.

The Bolton news reports this and also confirms that Sanchez has indeed not travelled. Another good guess from mystic Nixon then...

If Sanchez deal is dead, i'd love for us to take a look at henri lansbury from Arsenal, keeps getting sent out on loan and I don't think he'll really get much chance at Arsenal but has got great potential

What's that got to do with Sanchez? Lansbury looks a decent player, but big bastard in front of the back four he aint!

They play in simular positions, and it seems Owen wants another center midfielder... so thats why I put Sanchez in...

I mean Lansbury has said he wants first team football next season with Arsenal but he's got Rosický, Arteta, Ramsey, Song, Santi Cazorla, Wilshire when he's fit and now is seems Nuri Sahin from Madrid is on his way there... He's worth a punt atleast, even if we grab him on loan..

Also here is a picture of our new signing Afobe with the shirt...

You'd have picked that Tuncay-Mavies-Pratley-Eagles midfield wouldn't ya? Go on, admit it!

I haven't seen that much of Lansbury, but he looks tidy, looks to get on it in the final third and hurt teams. Kicking the fook out of anyone going near our back four isn't him. That's priority number one in midfield I'd have said, and the sort of player we're told Sanchez is. If we don't get him we need another big bastard, independently of whether or not we go after Lansbury.

So we need a big bastard who kicks the shit out of everyone right?

In that case i'll get on the phone to coyle and see if i can get a trial cus i will kick the fvck out of anyone for a tenner a game when i play i have to pay to do it

Personally i would like a DM who can read the game well and put his foot in as and when it's needed and can pass more than 2 yards

Not going round kicking the fvck out of everyone and giving free kicks away in dangerous areas if that were the case we should sign Robbo back up and put him there

I don't mean big bastard the way you do, fatty :D.

No, I mean we need an enforcer. I'd imagine Arsenal isn't the place to look for one of those, not unless he is coming via Birmingham.
