Tranmere thread
Anyone else going? Just been on their website (I know, I know) and by sheer coincidence their front page is promoting 'Flashback' highlights of the game in 96/97 when they won the World Cup for stopping us getting to 100 points. Just hope we beat the buggers now.

Sad state of affairs if that's one of their 'highlights'.
The Cow Shed End is literally the last stand I would ever want to return to.

Not beating Tranmere is not something for debate. They deserve beating in every sense of the word.

Maybe somebody should send them a video of what we've been doing in the last 15 years?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Why are we lining the coffers of these sad c*nts? No doubt they will be 'up for it' and there will be some 'tasty' tackles.

Plenty o'changes there, AT; I'd say more than half those starters were second-choice – until Saturday, when something looking perilously close to first-choice got bummed.
The default 4-4-2, too, you note.

Is this Sordell's first time in the starting eleven since he arrived in January?

Re: Tranmere thread
It was the fact that he thinks it is a midfield combination that should be played at any time. By playing it, it seems to me that he thinks it is a combination that is worth looking at, with a view to using it, even if not all the time. With the exception of Lee, it is a combination that has failed miserably many a time last season. It worries me.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Plenty o'changes there, AT; I'd say more than half those starters were second-choice – until Saturday, when something looking perilously close to first-choice got bummed.

Odds on for him to have a mare and subsequently not be picked again 'til Christmas then.Little Green Man wrote:Is this Sordell's first time in the starting eleven since he arrived in January?
