Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Cheers lads your wishes are much appreciated
As far as i know i don't think he's been caught yet i hope the squaddies get to him before the police do
Can't get out of my head that his life is worth around 7 quid
Why did't it happen to some fvcker who deserves it there's plenty who do
Really really sad day

Terrible news PW, sorry for your loss.
And agree with Bruce, drink drivers are just disgusting. There is absolutely no need ever.

Condolences Plymouth.
I guess if they don't get the bugger soon, it'll be difficult to prove he/she was drink driving too.
Hope they get 'em.

I'm sorry for your loss Plymouth. It will be of little comfort, but I'm certain given the extent of CCTV and ANPR that they'll catch the driver.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Apparently we currently have the "wrong operating cadence" at work. We're going to put it right, as another Senior Vice President bites the dust and another round of redundancies lie in wait.
I'm listening to the call now as another set of muppet shuffle VP's are sworn in for a few months, and they wonder why the market doesn't understand out strategy and positioning.
Fcuking bizarre and part of the problem has to be people using phrases like operating cadence.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
My last firm started with 400 employees. Due to wonderful schemes, buy-outs that split the company and reduced it to half, a succesion of CEO's with fantastic business plans, new vision and all the rest, everybody got made redundant in the core company, which finished up moving to a small site with fifteen employees. Mind you, I don't suppose the company directors who only showed up once a year for the A.G.M and took hefty salaries helped too much. A load of long-time employees got "redundant with immediate effect" notices and had to leave the same day.
Up to my leaving, anybody retiring had much ceremony and got leaving presents, (my ex boss got a new bike etc). I was informed that due to the current unsettled economic climate it would look bad when people were getting made redundant if any fuss was made. C.E.O took me out for lunch across the road, said thanks and that was it. No office speech or presentation, or thanks a lot etc...just goodbye after 17 years. And I was one of the lucky ones. Operating cadences..huh!

Picked up on that as soon as you mentioned VP's. At our Yank plant it seems that everyone's VP of something, they're just not sure as to what!Worthy4England wrote:Good spot.bobo the clown wrote:American owned, I trust !?Worthy4England wrote:Apparently we currently have the "wrong operating cadence" at work. VP's are the new Directors. We're actually working through ranks of VP now. We have P's, EVP's, SVP's, VP's, MD's and everyone's a Director - oh then there's the "Chief's" the CxO's, even the canteen peeps now have Director of Comestibles on their business cards.Bruce Rioja wrote:Picked up on that as soon as you mentioned VP's.
