Love Haggis and black pudding but can't be doing with offal.

You do realise Haggis is offal though, don't you?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

They eat some bloody rotten nosebag, the Krauts. I always end up living on Wienerschnitzel for the week when I'm there, so as to remove any unpleasant surprise possibilities :D
That was pretty much the top n tail of it. :-)

If they'd grilled the fackers, it might have been ok.

I'm a bit lost here worthy. Did you like the white puddings you were eating or not?

These things weren't just boiled in the water and placed in a tureen, they were fcuking soggy and waterlogged. Like a condom full of runny poo.

Things rarely are as hot as they're claimed to be, with the notable exception of this rascal. I don't know if they still make it, but bloody hell - it's hot! Image
As sadly my spaniel found out recently. His treat when I sneak him into the local whilst out on a 'walk' is a pepperami. Sadly, I didn't notice that the dozy git behind the bar had given me the hot one. The poor dog did!

Oh yes (benefits from an accompanying glass of Glayva too). The offal thing isn't a principle thing - I just don't like any of it on its own. Never have. My mum used to try to get me to eat liver when I was a kid and I just couldn't do it, still can't, yet I love pate.

In France ( on the Cherbourg peninsula) I was served a trio of 'saucisson' which turned out to be pork, a kind of blood sausage (black pudding-ish) and a sausage with translucent skin and what looked like intestines stuffed inside.

I (and a big german fella on an adjacent table who had ordered the same thing) tucked into the first two and then started on the third. I cut into mine and the innards spilled out onto the plate accompanied by a stench that would have poleaxed a bull.

Both the German and I left our plates unfinished. Never has there been a more perfect cross border unstated unity than existed between he and I at that moment of our complete and utter disgust at that 'sausage'.

Well, today's hot choice is Chicken Pimpernel in a Scarlet Sauce,
Scarlet Chicken in a Pimpernel Sauce, or Huge Suspicious-Looking
Sausages in a Scarlet Pimpernel Sauce.

About 10 years ago I was working for a Sitt Iffrican company. Sometimes, on a nice day, skottel braais would miraculously appear in the car park and it was Boerewors for lunch. My word, those boys and girls know how to make a sausage.

Bolton town hall square, large Bratwurst sausage and onions on a large bun, touch of salt and splash of mustard. Delicious

I was interested enough in this to Google it... some good Andouilette stories here:
