I'm sure I should have heard of him... but, really, I haven't!
anyway - if he went out on loan he'd want to be guaranteed a starting place...
Daily Mail a couple of weeks ago wrote:Youngster Josh McEachran will hold talks with Di Matteo this week to discover whether he has a place in first-team plans at Stamford Bridge this season.
The highly-rated central midfielder, 19, who spent part of last season on loan at Swansea, is currently in Seattle for Chelsea’s US pre-season training camp.
He said: ‘I want to play as many games as I can for Chelsea this season. I’m a Chelsea player and I want to play for Chelsea. But if the manager wants to send me out on loan then that’s up to him at the end of the day.’
Despite his reputation as one of the best emerging English talents, Under 21 star McEachran managed just two starts for Swansea last season. And he admits he would want certain guarantees over his first-team chances if he is to be loaned out this summer.
‘Last season was frustrating because the whole reason I went to Swansea was to play games,’ he said. ‘In football there are always setbacks — it’s about how you deal with them.’

Ex-Wanderers ressie James Caton to sign for Blackpool, it seems.
Never saw him play whilst he was here, but it sounds as though Holloway rates him.
One we've let escape the net; or the next Chris Basham? Anyone know?

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

phew!!According to reports Saint-Etienne have opted against moving for Bolton Wanderers striker David N’Gog.
Insidefutbol.com claims the former Liverpool man had been under serious consideration at the Ligue 1 club, but they have decided to pursue other options.

I can't find mention of it on here, but Liverpool have officially told Swansea they'll pay the £15m release clause for Joe Allen. Obviously not entirely relevant here, except that Swansea are linked with Mavies...

If Swansea get £15m for Allen, which it looks like they will, we shouldn't sell Davies for less than £10m. If they are getting an inflated value, so should we. Allen isn't worth Davies + over £5m in a million years.
Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
Have the feeling we'll sell him for around £8m.

The one thing that doesn't work in our favour is the fact we got relegated, look at Charlie Adam, there were news stories saying he could go for anything between £10million - £16million and then eventually he went for £7million once they got relegated

Wolves went down with us and look like they could get 12 million for Fletcher and have turned down 9 million for Jarvis.
Us and Wolves are different from clubs like Blackpool IMO.. the yoyo clubs are easier targets for clubs to buy from.. especially when there players are unsettled.
