Yeah I see your point about asking for more than £10m.... And yeah I realise controversial opinion conc Wilshere... but really rate Davies and think Wilshere is seriously overhyped at this point in time (ie - England's saviour in midfield, who knows how he's going to come back from injury?) with some serious downsides. Do think he's potentially a great player, but we latch onto any promising English footballers when they are 18, 19 and then wonder why they haven't turned into the next coming of maradona by 25

Thought it was 6 according to BN?

If we have a tipping figure does that mean we're a bit like a cow?

How much do we have to pay T'Wolfs if we sell for £7m?

Coyle will hopefully have a tier of centre mid targets depending on any incoming monies. How many burnley/yank/jockos does £7.5m buy?

In the subsequent Mirror link Nixon says 25% of any fee (rather than profit), so £7m would be £1.75m to Dogheads, £5.25m to us.

So who do ya reckon we should sign if sparky goes and we've already got a bit plugged away for the elusive defensive e midfielder I would like to see someone like rhys williams, or Jordan Rhodes

Rhodes has all but signed for Dingles Mk I, hasn't he? He'd be daft to join another Championship club anyroad IMHO.

So you'd like to replace our midfielder with a defender or a striker?

What it really needs is some big hard centre mid bugger probably from one of the european leagues. Basically a younger Faye. We dont seem to have the scouting network we used too...or the markets not there i suppose.

I thought we were looking at loans and frees for a DM. Hence the Romeu, McEachran rumours and the Cisse trial.

I suppose your guess is as good as mine mate

And as I said Williams can play there and across the back four so he would defitley come in handy and he is held in high regard so if he lives up to his potential he'd make us some profit

All part of the Master Plan you see

Boro was crazy money don't they? Like £7-8 million kinda crazy.

(Not seen muc of him to be honest, but that's probably even crazier than us wanting £8m for Davies)

Yep I remember them saying it was around that much but you never know I reckon they'd do turn for 5-6mill

Obviously we'd have to get the 7 mill for sparky and tbh I can't see Swansea paying that
