Re: The League Cup
Well, there are a couple of people I need to see down there but was putting it of for a few weeks as I'm away the week after next. Problem is, my boss might start wondering why these London meets are all of a sudden such burning issues?! Hmmmm.General Mannerheim wrote:All over that. Working in london has its merits!

Off to Crawley this afternoon as it happens, its a dump but it has quite good shops... For those going - the ground is just about walkable from the station though theres's parking at Broadfield i think (its been about 15 years since i went to watch the Arsenal 'celebrity' team take on Crawley) theres also a leisure centre nearby which has a fair amount of parking space too. Not any on road parking.

Re: The League Cup
Hi there - really looking forward to this already.
In a competitive match you're (one of?) the biggest club(s) we've entertained (depends on your view of Derby and Stoke)
Hopefully you'll be our 5th victim out of 6 championship sides in cup comps in last 2 years. (Hull, Derby, Millwall and Bristol City being the others)
Whatever the result, for those that come enjoy the night out.

Re: The League Cup
Above incorrect. Don't use the leisure centre or you may get locked in. Free parking available just before the ground on the A23, coming from J11 of M23. Street parking with a 10-15 minute walk also available. For both you'd need to be there by 1845. Some of the town isn't the best, but the whole place is by no means a dump.Gooner Girl wrote:Off to Crawley this afternoon as it happens, its a dump but it has quite good shops... Tilgate Park is nice but i have to disagree. My sister used to live there and certainly most of the places i have been to in Crawley aren't as nice as much of the rest of Sussex.crawleyfan wrote:Above incorrect. Was going to say didn't you have United in the cup, but that was at OT.crawleyfan wrote:Hi there - really looking forward to this already.

Re: The League Cup
That's a bit like saying a town isn't as nice as the country. Surely both rely on each other. It's all relative anyway, isn't it? One thing for sure is all Bolton fans will get a warm welcome.Gooner Girl wrote:Tilgate Park is nice but i have to disagree. According to their website matchday tickets for this season are £22 for adults, though maybe that's just league and it will be different pricing for the cup.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Crawlionians - any idea roughly how muchish a ticket is expected to be?
