England 2 Italy 1.
Entertaining game once we woke up. Gave one away then got two back (four actually, one cracker from Cahill, disallowed for I know not what, one offside and two excellent goals. Finally started using the midfield and with most of the "faces" missing, played very well. Adam Johnson was tops, Cahill a rock in defence, Baines had a good game and an all round decent performance. Well done.

He always is when I see him, yet he seems to be touted around the transfer gossip pages as if City want ridTANGODANCER wrote:Entertaining game once we woke up. Seemed to want to keep the ball from the admittedly small parts of the game I saw, this is a good thing. Would like to see Adam Johnson go to prem team where he'll play every week and see how good he could get. Questions about his attitude though?
Re: England 2 Italy 1.
Adam Johnson is a class act IMO. Amazes me how Milner gets in the City team ahead of him. Now there is talk he will be sold and they want Sinclair from Swansea. Madness.

See when Milner came on, he looked streets ahead of Johnson last night..

I missed most of the game last night but would say Milner was the worst player in the team at the euro's along with Ashley Young.boltonboris wrote:See when Milner came on, he looked streets ahead of Johnson last night..

And Rooney.. I thought he played well in the Euro's for doing what was asked of him (working hard and keeping the ball in the centre of the park when the oppo's had it and stopping us getting stretched by tracking runners and working like fvck).
From a creative point of view, he did nowt.. but I don't think that was expected of him.
He wasn't the only one either.. Good player is Milner.

That's because you are presumably not classing Carroll as an actual player.ChrisC wrote:I missed most of the game last night but would say Milner was the worst player in the team at the euro's along with Ashley Young.boltonboris wrote:See when Milner came on, he looked streets ahead of Johnson last night..
