For my 2 penneths worth Davo is an impact sub this season but there was far worse players than him on the pitch today

How is losing the confidence from the stands a good thing? I've heard this quite alot now and although yes it is frustrating hearing the guy next to you say 'oh not to worry we'll walk the next 37' i'm sure before the match none of the players thought it was going to be a stroll in the park so whats the problem?

Sorry use you as an example Dasher it's just before the game I for one was happy there would be none of the typical excuses in regards to money i.e the top four and everyone else and so if everyone truly believed we were good players, had a good manager, staff and all the rest they could be judged by on the pitch merits and that alone.
Where did I mention confidence from the stands ?

How is thinking they can turn up every week put in a half assed perfomance like they did today and win the league a good thing. We have a lot of ordinary players even at this level the sooner that is accepted the sooner we can start to rebuild. Sick of reading the sh1te in the press from our players saying they are going to do this and they are going to do that then when the match comes they deliver feck all
Well surely fans thinking the players will 'win the league by hundreds on points' is a sign of confidence, no matter how delirious?

Maybe i'm just reading into something that's not there in regards to your quote personally but that's just how it came across to me.

Do you still think KD is worth his starting place?
What I think is immaterial, voice your own thoughts. The system is bollox. Wouldn't be any diferent with Arjen Roben, Van Persie or Didier Drogba up there as long as wallop balls are all we have to offer.
I thought the new plan A was knock the ball to Sordell and let him run on his own a little? No support from the wings or through the middle but he is dead quick like so it'll definitely work out.

Surely we are not going to abandon the throw in where we lob it onto Davos heads who flicks it on only to find for the 30th time that game none of our players have read it. Pretty sure the opposition haven't sussed this one out yet

Sorry mate just depressed at another season of watching this sh1te then reading from Coyle and the players they are going to do this and they are going to do that then they don't deliver on match days and we start the whole cycle again. They seem to live in some fantasy bubble

Don't worry, like I said I probably read into something that wasn't there.

One thing I think we can all agree on, it's going to be a long season...

I've refrained from commenting on the 4-4-2 v 4-5-1 before now as I wasn't going to the games. Today at the match it was immediately obvious to me what you've all been going on about for so long. You could drive a coach and horses through the centre of our team our players were all so far away from each other.

I'll be surprised if Burnley finish in the top 10 this year but their workrate shamed us and whenever the ball went into midfield our 2 were over run. Imo we quickly need 5 midfielders with the 2 'wide' men tucking in when we lose possession. A bad day all round with fans behind me having a go at each other

Highlights
LCY getting 90 minutes and showing the odd flashes of his old self
Sordells hold up play and first touch

Lowlights
Ricketts having his worst game in a Bolton shirt
Petrov looking disinterested after we went a goal down
Ream & SKD
Keith Andrews - for 20 minutes we had the guy who played for Ireland. 1 misplaced pass later and we had the guy who was at Blackburn. To be fair though, he was heavily outnumbered everytime he got near the ball.

You've got to be joking, yes the whole side was bad but Kevin Davies wins hands down for putting the most embarrassing pathetic performance in I've ever seen from anyone in a Bolton shirt. He gave the ball away literally EVERY TIME he had it. He was fecking embarrassing to watch and despite Afobe doing nothing when he came on, he completely does not deserve a starting place in our team.

Today was a fecking joke, a complete embarrassment and I'm still thinking what the worst part was:

1. Tyrone Mears dribbling the ball out of play when there was no other player anywhere near him
2. Adam Bogdan just throwing the ball out of play when aiming for Sam Ricketts
3. Kevin Davies taking a seat on the grass when a ball went in his direction
4. Owen Coyle

I'm going to go for option 1 in this instance, but it's a close one.

Huffing and puffing would suggest effort. I didn't see much evidence of that.

Although this is my first post and I didnt want to be particularly negative or critical of anyone........ how on earth do you justify that comment!!!!!

This is the poorest bwfc team, manager and squad since 1990 -92.

The lack of 'want' was today's biggest worry. That is down to Coyle and his motley crew not getting it out of them...

So many players where shocking today.
Tuesday I want to see

Boggers
Riley
Knight
Ream
Ricks

Chungy
Vela
Andrews
Pratley
Petrov

Sordell

We MUST get bodies in the middle of the park. Sadly that means losing a striker. Shame Obi One will miss out.
If there isn't any improvement out of certain individuals then the likes of Mills, Alonso & Eagles should start on Friday.

Big week of Home games to come now.

I genuinely didnt see a lack of 'want'. Just 14 athletes not at anywhere near the level of the opposing 14 athletes. They are abusing our players here through improper training.

They didn't look the least bit bothered to me. Knight had a big grin walking off the pitch. Sordell did a 'loadsamoney' gesture to the Burnley fans which, although I don't blame him for reacting, is just something that I'd relate to our players being more bothered about their wallets than the badge on their shirts. With or without elephants.

fecking shite.....shiter than shite.....I can handle playing that badly in the top flight but what the fuuuuuuck was that all about?

To quote Shebby Singh - he's got 3 games - lose them and he's lost Bolton fans forever.

Embarrassing, amateur, lazy, don't give a feck is how I'd some up that performance.

As for Tim Ream - he's like a fecking fairy - get stuck in you fecking gay-boy, he's a fecking centre back ffs

What sort of gesture was this? Not saying I don't believe you but he doesn't come across as the sort of person who would do such a thing.
