Only good thing is that this result might get rid of the ridiculous notion from the people that think we are a Premiership quality team who will only have to turn up every week and we will win the league by hundreds on points.

How is losing the confidence from the stands a good thing? I've heard this quite alot now and although yes it is frustrating hearing the guy next to you say 'oh not to worry we'll walk the next 37' i'm sure before the match none of the players thought it was going to be a stroll in the park so whats the problem?

Sorry use you as an example Dasher it's just before the game I for one was happy there would be none of the typical excuses in regards to money i.e the top four and everyone else and so if everyone truly believed we were good players, had a good manager, staff and all the rest they could be judged by on the pitch merits and that alone.

How is thinking they can turn up every week put in a half assed perfomance like they did today and win the league a good thing. We have a lot of ordinary players even at this level the sooner that is accepted the sooner we can start to rebuild. What I think is immaterial, voice your own thoughts. The system is bollox. Wouldn't be any diferent with Arjen Roben, Van Persie or Didier Drogba up there as long as wallop balls are all we have to offer.

I've refrained from commenting on the 4-4-2 v 4-5-1 before now as I wasn't going to the games. Today at the match it was immediately obvious to me what you've all been going on about for so long. You could drive a coach and horses through the centre of our team our players were all so far away from each other.

I'll be surprised if Burnley finish in the top 10 this year but their workrate shamed us and whenever the ball went into midfield our 2 were over run. Imo we quickly need 5 midfielders with the 2 'wide' men tucking in when we lose possession. A bad day all round with fans behind me having a go at each other

You've got to be joking, yes the whole side was bad but Kevin Davies wins hands down for putting the most embarrassing pathetic performance in I've ever seen from anyone in a Bolton shirt. He gave the ball away literally EVERY TIME he had it. He was fecking embarrassing to watch and despite Afobe doing nothing when he came on, he completely does not deserve a starting place in our team.

Today was a fecking joke, a complete embarrassment and I'm still thinking what the worst part was:

1. Tyrone Mears dribbling the ball out of play when there was no other player anywhere near him
2. Adam Bogdan just throwing the ball out of play when aiming for Sam Ricketts
3. Kevin Davies taking a seat on the grass when a ball went in his direction
4. Owen Coyle

I'm going to go for option 1 in this instance, but it's a close one.

Sordell did a 'loadsamoney' gesture to the Burnley fans which, although I don't blame him for reacting, is just something that I'd relate to our players being more bothered about their wallets than the badge on their shirts.
