For some reason I'm insanely optimistic that we'll win this 3-1.

Getting excited about the game all of a sudden. Why oh why do we do this to ourselves?

Should be a good game, hopefully a decent result if he plays a half decent team/formation.

When is Holden due back, maybe then things will change, Also N'gog.... is he injured?

Nah, I'm with the Insane one. We'll dick em. Cant keep a clean sheet but they wont be able to resist our front men.

5-2 for us - Sordell (2), LCY, SKD & Afobe

This will give Owen another 18 months and keep SKD in the starting line up until February

Twins again Norm? Keep it in yer kex.

I actually think we couldn't possibly perform as badly as Saturday again, so I'm hopeful of a resounding home win.

After 12 months you seriously think we aren't capable of being as shit twice a week rather than then prem quality once?
Wish I had any confidence this were true..

Telling it like it is, from Rams Mad site:

Bolton Wanderers are stuck down in the relegation zone of npower Championship with a return of just 0 points from their 1 games thus far.

Derby County's 1 points from 1 games sees them lie inside the top half of the table, in 10th position.

Nowt like optimism.

Its the fitness that concerns me. im expecting a reaction but i cant see how they can improve on fitness in a days training to a level where we will match a proffessional outfit for more than a half of football.

Reminds me of the excellent preview of the Man City game someone (can't remember who) did on here this time last season.

bit of a dilemma...

I COULD walk down the road tonight and watch Torquay play Cheltenham at home - I'm very tempted..

OR I could mope about on here waiting for updates on how its going at t'Reebok...

mind - don't imagine that it is virtually free to watch the lower league teams..

I suppose I could take my new posh swizzy phone and do both....

Jeez Bish, as you've said in a previous post you're not a general football fan. I am. But no way on gods green earth I'd pay £20 to go and watch Torquay play Cheltenham.....

Crazy. Though actually paying £30 to watch us play Burnley was equally as crazy.

Puts it in to perspective when people complain about the prices at the Reebok (and in fairness I've been amongst them).

What I'd probably do is go and watch Torquay and Cheltenham, then get back on here at say 10-10:30ish, regardless of the result or how we've played, to tell everyone it's alright and we're in safe hands with Owen Coyle, just for shits n giggles. :D

I'll be stood by the 'lucky' radio.

Shouting, pointing, swearing but hopefully punching the air at some point(s).

If we win you've got me to thank.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

An ominous statistic:

• Nigel Clough's side picked up 13 points (4W, 1D) against relegated clubs last term.
