Precisely. Thats the tools he'll have. And with little, if any, extra funds to invest.
So then, who is this saviour who will come in and work for nowt with nowt and guarantee us promotion? From where I see it we're f*cked until people understand we're f*cked. Then we can start to rebuild.

So we're agreed on bullshit then.BWFC_Insane wrote:Well we could have made a 4-5M on Mark Davies had we accepted the Swansea bid. As it is Coyle values him at 10M which would be a 9M profit if anyone matched the asking price.Lord Kangana wrote:Really? You actually believe that? Theres not much point in arguing a nonsensical argument, but which of these profits are we refering to? Al Habsi? Elmander? Shittu? Robinson?BWFC_Insane wrote: And before you go on about the money argument, let's remember the only chance Coyle has of making a profit on players currently is down to the last blokes signings.
.
Who is this big player we've made a profit on? I know, Cahill. £2m. I'm stumbling after that. Genuinely, help me out. Because I call bullshit.
Cahill has already gone for a profit.
As would LCY.
Probably our only two sellable assets as it stands are Mark Davies and LCY, both Megson signings.
Fulham bid for Ngog but offered less than we paid for him.

Re: Time to go
There is apparently no money at all, yet we can still afford to fairly regularly spend money (£3mil on Sordell, £2mill on Mills), while refusing to entertain bids for our players, and we have one of the highest wage budgets in the league.
The majority of the league we're currently in cannot compete with us financially (Marvin Sordell would be Burnley's joint most expensive ever signing), and yet we're fecked, and there is no possible way any available manager could've either done better, or do better from this point onwards.

Isn't there? Then why sack Coyle?

He'll only have those tools because this fooking dickhead tool in charge, signed them.Lord Kangana wrote:Precisely. Thats the tools he'll have. And with little, if any, extra funds to invest.

We need to stop him at all costs before he signs any fooking more.
The only consolation is when I sneak up behind him in my steamroller, he'll think it's Mark Davies.
You know as well as I, that no one can guarantee us promotion, we can however try and stop the rot.
You still haven't answered my original question around how much do you think we have as wage bill compared to the other Championship sides? You say we're f*cked financially and from the "heady" Gary Megson days, I think we're certainly a lot lower on wages. I think we still have more wages available than all but one or two teams in this league, what do you think? The reason I ask this, is so when I say "we'll give X a try", it'll save you the trouble of saying "he wouldn't come on our budget, he's got more than that at Rushden and Diamonds". So g'wan, give me a clue how fooked we are.

So your great idea is to keep the current useless fecker until the club goes bankrupt, down the shitter and we have to start again from the Unibond league? Fantastic, that one...Lord Kangana wrote:Precisely. Thats the tools he'll have. And with little, if any, extra funds to invest.

We have to get promoted this season, or our budget will indeed equal the likes of Burnley.Worthy4England wrote:So g'wan, give me a clue how fooked we are.
Under those circumstances, I'm looking for a bit of inspiration.
I need to know who it is thats going to stop that. Because its abundantly clear that from now on (much like Wenger at Arsenal, and look at the shit from know-nowts that gets thrown at him) we are now working to a policy of balancing the books. Thats it. Little, indeed probably no more borrowing-based spending. With a general intention of paying Uncle Eddie back in the meantime. The good times have gone.

Sorry, I'm getting senile in my old age, please could you just give me a reminder where I've put anything even remotely close to that. Re: Time to go
Just to be clear, whilst the rest is no doubt correct, Gartside was clear at the fans forum that we are not paying Eddie back and he doesn't want it back. He also said that there are interest repayments to him put through the books for tax reasons, but in reality we are not paying it.Lord Kangana wrote:We have to get promoted this season, or our budget will indeed equal the likes of Burnley.Worthy4England wrote:So g'wan, give me a clue how fooked we are.
