Glen Whelan would be a great shout for the short term. Frimpong is out injured and has no set return date yet

Just Vertonghen, Caulker, Kaboul and Gallas!! So yeah, they're screwed without the perma-crocked Michael Dawson.......
Getting rid of the lumps and keeping/hiring ball-players. Nice.

As for Huddlestone... interesting. Signs perhaps that Pulis wants to have more creativity with the ball, but you can't help wonder if he'll crunch numbers in September and decide Hudds hasn't worked hard enough. Still, they've been playing more of a 4-5-1/4-3-3 more often, so they could cover for the extra man in midfield...

Nope, it's because Thuddlestone can hit the ball really long and accurate like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BNA-EMl ... age#t=101s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

thriker.

AVB same coaching course as Owen Coyle. Clearly defending wasn't on that course!
AVB has't a clue

I'll say it again he will be gone by the end of the season Spurs fans are going loopy over some of his decisions

*some* Spurs fans. The thick ones, and there are plenty, but being moronic is no bar to internet access, as is constantly shown round here. I'll say again, those whom I know think he's doing the right thing, somewhat tied down by Levy's fiscal insistence. Huddlestone is a good player but he's not good enough to be a regular at a top-five club. Doesn't make AVB a bad manager, but he does have a lot to prove.

A certain mr Nixon is claiming that Spearing is now the "clear favourite" as our DM signing..

when it was put to him that he had suggested that Liverpool wanted some cash-money and were not too keen on a loan, he replied..

"many ways to skin a cat"

You're listening to Talkshite too much.

Manager who prefers fast pressing game high up the pitch getting rid of slow players shock horror.

AVB might not succeed, but it won't be because he's sold Huddlestone & Dawson.

Anyway, back to the Wanderers. Have we got our defensive midfielder yet?

it's gonna be that ugly lad from liverpool..

they want to sell him - we only want to borrow him...

it'll drag on for a while and then be announced to universal boredom...

Dawson was nowhere near as good as Kaboul last season.
