The Premiership transfer window doesn't prevent them selling players does it ??BWFC_Insane wrote:We only have to wait 9 days then Liverpool can't sell him anywhere. Like you Bish I can see where this is headed.....thebish wrote:it's gonna be that ugly lad from liverpool..plymouth wanderer wrote:And no we havent got are defensive midfielder yet
they want to sell him - we only want to borrow him...
it'll drag on for a while and then be announced to universal boredom...

No. But there won't be many foreign / Championship clubs willing to spend 3-4million on him.

No championship club could buy him as the same window applies to us, then re-opens for loans only.boltonboris wrote:No. But there won't be many foreign / Championship clubs willing to spend 3-4million on him.
Most countries abroad have the same window. Apart from some of the Eastern European colleagues I think....

Certainly some Eastern Europeans, their transfer windows generally align to when their seasons start I think. Think that's how Arsenal offloaded Arshavin (and Spurs off loaded Pavlyuchenko) outside of our transfer window, but could be talking bollocks.BWFC_Insane wrote:No championship club could buy him as the same window applies to us, then re-opens for loans only.boltonboris wrote:No. But there won't be many foreign / Championship clubs willing to spend 3-4million on him.

I wonder why he just sat there twiddlng his thumbs through all of the losses and bad performances over the past 18 months then.“We live, breathe and die this – it’s not just a job. And I’m a fan on top of that, so it hurts me as much as anyone when we lose or there’s a bad performance.”
The losses and bad performances may hurt him but I bet his six figure salary sure eases the pain.

I don't want to see us sign Spearing at all. A loan deal is fine but I would be uneasy with signing him for any significant fee.

His ankles are knackered and stoke didn't want to be liable if further injuries occurred. Something along them lines anyway

Wigan are after Chungy, with £10m mentioned in today's People.

Wigan haven't got £10m.

Which is pretty much what the paper said. They want him will have to pay £10M, but probably can't.....Lord Kangana wrote:Wigan haven't got £10m.
However, remember they have just sold Moses for 9M so have a bit to play with.....

If Chungy was to go he'd want a better club than Wiggin (or Stoke) right now.TANGODANCER wrote:Wigan are after Chungy, with £10m mentioned in today's People.
If we haven't shaped-up by the January window he'll be off, but now ... I just doubt it (hopefully not domed that now). We'll know by next weekend.

Laurel nd Hardy said at that do - none of our players are for sale unless someone comes in with "silly money". £10m for Chungy has to be somewhere close to its tipping point, no?

I suppose in that vicinity, but I'd ;
a). not trust this muppett to spend it properly ............. and
b). prefer to see if we can be there or thereabouts come January to see if he then wanted to go.
