You should be happy to be in the Championship where you're considered the favourites instead of spending a decade in the bottom half of the Premiership

he can't be talking about us.. we have never spent a decade in the bottom half of the Premiership... :conf:

We got 17k for two midweek games against Derby and Forest (which was also on telly), if you're going to bang on about attendances then at least have some decent facts to back them up.

We're a team in the NW of England, I doubt any other region in the world has as many clubs nearby.

At the end of the season - you're welcome to come back to play attendance top-trumps.

Just one question - for such a huge club - where the fúck have your fans gone?! Once upon a time you'd have brought thousands....instead of struggling to fill a single block

I wouldn't say that, Forest's away following has always been average.Going back to their glory days under Brian Clough it was always a Birmingham or Derby like 1,500 from Forest. In the late 70s, Bolton gave the Manny Road side of the Embankment to the expected huge away followings from Liverpool, Man Utd, City etc. They gave it to Forest one season and despite having a great team it was more than half empty.

I didn't think we played that badly, don't agree with booing but agree less with opposition fans giving it the big 'I am'.
Pfffft.

3 games in and 3 sets of wanker fans talking about how much better their fans are than ours.. Is this the kind of small time shit we have to put up with from these cretins? We've not even played Leeds yet...

The only clubs to better our crowd this weekend are Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves. Just saying, like.

Yeah, but where are we on the list of "proper" fans, eh?

As I recall the whole bastard world, including bloody QPR, are more "proper" than us.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

The insults tend to come from those who know us only as a Premier League side and have no idea of what is still the club's recent history up until the early 90's, not to mention the financial problems last time we got relegated.

Yeah the booing is nothing to do with the fact we aren't winning it's that clueless bastard in charge who is still making the same mistakes as he did all of last season.

Which, to be fair, is the reason for us not winning ........

The reason you can't make sense of what "I" am saying is because you're too thick to realise you're attributing the views of two posters to one collective, contradictory being.

My only point was not to boo your side. This attendance bullshit and 'SKD' bollocks has feck all to do with me.

we've given OC a lot more time and patience than many of our previous managers got when the going got a bit tough, bolton fans have every right to voice their opinion on the team's performances, so they can boo if they want. You'd boo that shite if you'd had to watch it week in week out for 18 months.
