OK. You know when a product gets overrun by 'big business' who them only supply their own style & suddenly you can't get what you want?
So you go on line to search, but God knows what you call the item.
Well .... & I know this isn't life threatening or anything, but it's p'g my missus of & so hence making my life as stressful as watching Coyle's team selections. But sugar flowers for putting on trifles etc. .... not the high tech sort, but the basic, ordinary ones. The sort which you will find on Iced Gem biscuits.

So, like these, but without the biscuit base.
If anyone can help trace some I will be very, very grateful.
Now, onto the Afghan problem, the Eurozone crisis and food shortages in the Horn of Africa.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Thanks, a tad high grade but closer than is now available in the supermarkets, though 'not quite'. Certainly will do if I find nought else.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Just off the top of my head, unsure if suitable though?

Re: General Chit Chat
Saw this outside a neighbour's house today. ( number fudged, just in case, because I didn't ask permission to take the pic) Made me smile because my very first car was one of these. Didn't have the fancy cream on the wheels but I had a lot of fun in it. Top speed of five miles a fortnight, had to hold the yard-long gear-stick in second to stop it jumping out, and comfort wasn't its best feature. Eventually let my brother have it and he demolished a wall near The Gardners Arms with it. Fond memories.

So Lily has gone to the great duck pond in the sky
Really far to upset about all this, considering shes a 'poultry pet' but glad she isn't in pain any more.

Re: General Chit Chat
Thanks Bruce, checked her when we came back from swimming and were giving the twins tea at about 5.30 and she was alive and took a little water. Came back down from bathing and putting kids to bed an hour later, went to get her to do another maggot check and she had goneBruce Rioja wrote:Hope she passed as peacefully as was possible, GG. Glad she went though, would have taken her to be put to sleep tomorrow but if she was in pain (and i don't know but can't believe she was totally comfortable/pain free even with the metacam) perhaps its better she died of her own accord (and saved me about £30 in the process, bless her) Mr GG buried her in the garden.

Well, if it had to happen then I was rather hoping it might happen that way. I have no doubt that you'll have given her a wonderful life. Chin-up, eh?

Re: General Chit Chat
My dog, who is getting more expensive by the day, scared the bejesus out of us last night. He's 10 and a half with knackered knees but still thinks he's a puppy.
I was getting a couple of jacket potatoes out of the oven and had left the oven door down while I popped em on a plate. He decided now was the time to get giddy about his own tea and started skipping about. To our absolute horror he hopped onto the opened oven door (which was on at about 200c) and then his knees gave way. I've still no idea how he seems to have suffered no ill effects and happily wolfed his tea down a couple of minutes later.

My mates basset opened the bloody oven once and ate the casserole cooking in there, that bloody dog would eat anything.
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
