I just watched Catfish.

One of those films that shake you about and then you don't know what you think or feel about it. Moving, tragic, just plain weird, I don't know. Not at all what I expected!

compelling, but still undecided myself. them disabled boys too weird for the whole thing to be a hoax, although there are plenty of arguments for and against.

there goes the next couple of hours of your life!... there is loads of reading to be done, and the general consensus is 'fake'. my opinion would be that it probably is real to some extent, but they have had to make it more hollywood and this has highlighted the inconsistencies?

Historian fails to find much in the way of 'independent' documentary evidence on mohammed and the foundations of Islam... shock that... when we have so much on Moses, Abraham and Christ independently documented and authenticated...

So historian engaged in phoney, vacuous quest, then manages to come out with the profound insight that humanity, not god, creates religions... The Arab Empire needed the Prophet to unite them in their conquests...

He has a point in a no shit sherlock kind of way...
