yeah... what does he know??

I'm guessing he would love Coyle to succeed as a former team mate. He's not exactly writing from a neutral perspective. [citation needed]

Enlighten me Bish - what does he know ?

He's a mate of Coyle's who doesn't want him sacked - he was a good player for BWFC but he's hardly Jose Mourinho in management terms, he's no wiser than most of the fans.

as i think CAPS hinted elsewhere...

Bigsam is top of the odds as next Prem manager for the sack - twin factors being a poor start to their premiership campaign and the idea that Redknapp has his twitchy eye on the job

so - sit tight and all will be well... the Sam and Phil dream-team will return...

he knows what it takes to get promoted from the championship... maybe he also has contacts which gives him more access to what is actually going on the the dressing room than you or me?

Or maybe he's writing in support of his mate from the club who is getting some flak at the minute.

Just sayin', like.

I don't know, I said maybe. Like you did a lot in your post. We are all speculating here. It could well be a fascinating insight into the inner-workings of the football club we love. To me though it just seems like a few choice quotes by a former mate respected by the faithful to try and placate them. We can all interpret it our own ways.

Anyway, sorry for interrupting yours and BWFCI's hourly flirting, I'll let you get back to it :)

If you believe what Coyle said at the fans forum him and McGinlay are big pals. So I think the McGinlay piece reads like his "mate" Coyle is under BIG pressure. It doesn't read like a "he's here for a long time anyways so make the best of it".

It reads like a "please give him one last chance he knows its shite" kind of a piece.

As an aside I watched the interview he gave on Sky following the Forest game (still had it taped on my sky box), in hindsight that is not a normal interview. Very aggressive and jumpy. I'd say he is definitely under some pressure.

My gut feeling that losing to Hull could be the final straw, may have something in it after all......

I don't know either - it was a genuine question... having played in the same team or for the same club is not a guarantee of great-mateship...

seems a bit of an assumption unless someone knows any different...

“There’s nothing worse than playing in a negative atmosphere – just ask anyone who stepped on the pitch while Gary Megson was in charge – because it spreads right through the team. All of a sudden people are making bad passes or hiding from the ball.
Thought that was already part of the problem

Your posts sometimes come across as unnecessarily baiting, bish. Of course it's good to ask questions, but personally i don't see a need to use it as a game of one-upmanship

Apologies for snapping earlier, I usually don't reply to them, but hey, bad week and all that etc.
