I'll be very surprised if he throws a man who's only been here a day straight in and expects him to fit right off. He'll only have had a few games of ping-pong and a bit of head tennis and maybe a go at crossbar challenge. Might bring him on if we're under pressure second half, but that's all I can see.

Both Spearing and Mavies should play IMO, Spearing would of had pre season with Liverpool where their coaches are probably 100 times better then ours so he should be fit.

No. It suggests I think Coyle is on the edge of leaving the club and he has to throw Spearing in, in the hope that he comes off straight away and provides what Coyle undoubtedly sees as "the missing piece of the jigsaw".....

Not saying anything more, than I think he will start him, cos if he doesn't and we lose, he may well not get many more chances to.....

Anyway, providing the skipper is fit, I think Spearing will be on the bench. 4-4-2. Andrews and Davies.

If it was just a split opinion on wether it was right or wrong, then it'd be fine.. But both decisions are already deemed as the wrong one before a ball has even been kicked.

I don't see any reason why he can't play? He played for Liverpool last week away at Hearts. Presumably is fit.

Knows the English game, Hull away will not be a culture shock.

No reason at all he shouldn't be involved IMO.

I hope he's the "missing piece of the jigsaw" but I will wait and see him play first. Personally I still don't think Coyle will set the team up correctly, so whether he will help in the long run remains to be seen.
