Hull away is a culture shock for any right minded individual.

I agree there's no reason he shouldn't be involved.
The only way the team will be set up properly is if he's the deepest midfielder in a central 3. With Andrews and M. Davies in front of him.

I agree... on the proviso that all four midfielders who aren't Spearing fluently (and intelligently) support The Inevitable Kevin up front. Of later years, KD has played much better with a sidekick and while I wholly agree with the extra man in midfield, they need to support him lest he get isolated. (Although that said, he's hardly nippy, so the defence will probably keep a high line...)boltonboris wrote:The only way the team will be set up properly is if he's the deepest midfielder in a central 3. Quite posh ont' Wirrall, a lot of it. (Not round Prenton Park obviously. That's a complete shithole. And do you know why? It's because the pikey c*nts deserve it).

There's rather a lot which is far from posh .... a drive down passinf the industrial areas Ellesmere Port, Stanlow, Bebington, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead central to Wallasey would be quite different to the (often VERY) nicer parts.Bruce Rioja wrote:Quite posh ont' Wirrall, a lot of it. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Stayed in New Brighton one night last year. It's pretty much deserted now. A far cry from the bustling place that my Nana and Grandad used to take me to as a kid.William the White wrote:Does New Brighton still exist? Just got in from a walk to find CYL going to Everton for 5 mil and that noncy ex city player apparently on his way on loan.
Feckin comedians.
Anyway Spearing has to start because he's the only one for that centre mid role now Vela is injuredand without him there Hull can just stroll through at will. Spearing is certainly no use as an impact sub which makes a change from 90% of coyles signings who are far more effective on the bench. Quite why people want to see Mavis start on current form is beyond me.
Let Eagles play in the hole and get Petrov and CYL to be mobile.Andrews likewise to bomb forward and support KD.I'd rather not talk about our back 4 though... I'm still praying for a last minute left back signing.
