... & I still keep hearing the 'appy 'arry rumour which, should that happen, will lead to numbered tickets, a-la the Deli counter at supermarkets, for the Town Hall steps.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I've had 3 quite separate mates text/call me to say they have heard it & are 'ITK'. I keep telling them they are mad.

Its not bollox. He just started it.

They're all high on cake.

Phil Brown's still available. Just saying.

(Gianluca Vialli.
Roy Keane.
Billy Davies.
Ruud Gullitt.
Harry Redknapp - I know we haven't got enough brown envelopes.
Sammy McIlroy.)

Any one of the above.
in fact I'd take that prick Benitez or Count fuxking Kenny right now.
That's not a leopard!

Must admit I'll be wondering about the bloke in the home dugout at Hillsborough and wondering...

(Mind you he kept failing to get Cardiff promoted, and the year before his Wolves side's play-off victory they threw away an 11-point lead to local rivals West Brom, managed by You Know Who.)

Rumour doing the rounds is that Nigel Adkins could be about to replaced by a Fat Spanish Waiter.... I'd take Adkins....

Would love to get Adkins.. Has the enthusiasm of Coyle with the added plus of actually having a clue when it comes to managing a team.

Adkins is interesting - he does seem tactically flexible (fancy that!) but let's be honest, they spent a fair amount to get promoted. Like Coyle we might looking at wave-crester rather than a fire-fighter: can he help a team in trouble? At Scunny he took them up, down and up again then avoided relegation in his last season before joining Saints.

It's a good job to get. There's not much wrong with the club: good squad, a fanbase that stays loyal – even the 'low' gate against Watford (less than Megson ever got for a league game) was more than we got in the League Cup semi-final... we should get some decent applicants.
