Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Would be a good one given our lack of depth in midfield. Can he play left back aswell?

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I'd take Alan Hutton on loan. Rotting in the reserves at Villa, a million times better than any of our full backs.

He would be great but there will be teams higher in the pyramid than us interested.Gail Platz wrote:I'd take Alan Hutton on loan. Rotting in the reserves at Villa, a million times better than any of our full backs.

Not on loan there's not. The loan wondow is for 2nd, 3rd & 4th rate teams only.jaffka wrote:He would be great but there will be teams higher in the pyramid than us interested.Gail Platz wrote:I'd take Alan Hutton on loan. Do we really want another right-back that can't defend?Gail Platz wrote:I'd take Alan Hutton on loan. Rotting in the reserves at Villa, a million times better than any of our full backs.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Hutton always puts in a good shift in a Scotland jersey (dunno much about him week in, week out) and is tidy enough going forward.
He's a bit of a dirty b@stard/nutter too, which I like and which we could use.

Not sure that counts as two separate sources when they're word-for-word identicalTKIZ! wrote:Both Setanta Sport channel and Clubcall now going with the story on Romeu

As for Hutton: if he were a left-back, I could see the point. As he isn't, I can't.
Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Dwight Tiendalli was released by twente and is a swansea target, if we did want another left back he could be worth chasing

O'Halloran back from Carlisle after 12 days and one sub appearance.
Their manager saying the player wanted more pitch time. Sounds like there could be more to the story, but whatever - send him somewhere else.
