Well he's throwing another service game away cheaply.

If he loses Murray cant blame anyone else but himself. Second set two breaks up, threw them away, still scraped the set.
Final set two breaks up, then just throws it away with his first service game.

Would be a slight disservice to Djokovic, he's a dangerous player when he's on the ropes. Feeds off his own myth-making when on the comeback.

Is he just hitting balls against a wall, or has he got one of the all time greats trying to stop him?BWFC_Insane wrote:If he loses Murray cant blame anyone else but himself. Second set two breaks up, threw them away, still scraped the set.

Agreed, both have been sensational. But Murray gave away his last service game. Djokovic didn't win it.Jakerbeef wrote:Would be a slight disservice to Djokovic, he's a dangerous player when he's on the ropes. Feeds off his own myth-making when on the comeback.

Just wish he wouldn't throw games away straight after double breaks..
I'm totally fecked.
Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
Stiff-legged Djokovic starting to spank them. That way lies winners or errors.
Come on Murray...blood in the water.
Yes! He's got 2 chances to serve it out. Let's hope he needs one...

Cheating Serb bastard.
Get on with it.
Get on with it.

Ah Djokovic with the timely timeout. He has...previous...shall we say.
Which makes all that nonsense over Murray 'faking' injury in the French open all the more annoying. 'Cos he was intentionally serving at 70mph, yeah.

Not ashamed to admit I have tears in my eyes right now.
Unbelievable.
The blokes nearly killed himself trying to do it mind.
But to see this is an absolute privilege.
And I'm glad all my reverse jinxing wasn't in vain.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I knew your game!
Now you can cry Andy lad.
Proud. Boy from Dunblane done good.
The sky sports commentators with a lump in their throat by the sound of it.
I'm laughing at all them buggers who went to bed.

Always knew he'd do it at the US Open. Loves the riotous atmosphere and doesn't have anyone looking over his shoulder telling him to mind his language.

So gold and silver Olympics medals.
Wimbledone finalist.
And first British male to win a grand slam since 1936.
There are other candidates, but for me he should be a shoe in for sports personality of the year!

That's the trouble with reverse jinxers - if Novak wins in five they say I told you so, if Andy wins they say that their predictions were reverse jinxing and it worked. Win-win situation.BWFC_Insane wrote:Not ashamed to admit I have tears in my eyes right now.

Anyway, good for Andy though I found it hard to watch. WOOHOOO indeed.

Missed the final set as I fell asleep.. Gutted really.
Great win and well deserved. Say what you want about him or his personality, but he's a fantastic player. It's just a shame (trophy count wise) that he's in the same playing generation as 2 (maybe 3) living legends in the game. 1 of them, arguably the best ever.

he was a set and 4-0 up when i tuned in, i sacked it off at 2-2 convinced he'd blown it. proper jinx.
So I can always say i saw Murrays first grad slam, but all i saw was Djokovic smash him!
