maybe my memory is false... but I remember Cid being gash at CB - but not actually that bad a left back where IIRC he played a few games and wasn't that bad... or is it false memory syndrome...

I was at Craven Cottage with GtE when Cid played LB. I just remember the ball bouncing in front of him and him watching it bounce over him. Some Fulham player nipped in from about a hundred yards away and put the ball into the box. It was so bad I had to check that it had just happened and I hadn't been at my flask too much! Was fecking freezing and only about 50 of us there and they stopped serving beer just as I got to the front of the single queue
