"No more than Bolton deserve," says Iain Dowie on Sky, although "Watford's defending has been shambolic all day."

We should be alright for a draw now...

It's a ding-dong do....we're really pushing...they break and they hit the bar.....ooooh. And...it's half time. 2-0.

At least if we give one up in the 8 minutes after half time we'll still be one up?...

Spearing, Mills and Andrews all sound to be giving it per-cent and Alonso seems to be figuring well. Eagles is a dynamo. Pity KD started...oh, wait a minute.

Well we're doing what we should be. Many's the time we've faced a terribly performing opponent & failed to capitalise. I'd hope we'd push on from here, surely even a Coyle HT talk would struggle to throw away our hold on this game.... ?

Little number 16 has barely been mentioned, and when he has it has been stated how quiet he has been. But Ngog has been all over it by the sounds.

Now time for some words from Owen Coyle in which he tells the lads off for not conceding the first goal and having to chase the game!!

I have absolutely no clue, I just assumed we were playing the mourinho diamond which would be

--------Bogdan----------
Mears-Mills-Knight-Alonso
--------Spearing--------
--Andrews----Mavies----
--------Eagles----------
-------SKD-N'gog-------

From the text writing i've read it would seem Andrews is playing deeper then Spearing as Spearing has been getting forward quite alot

Mavies on the right according to the radio coverage, Eagles on the left in a 4-4-2

The radio saying M Davies is wide right, with Spearing and Andrews in the middle, Eagles on the left.

That sounds pretty odd, are they cutting inside?

I said in preseason that Eagles in The Hole was the way to go. :pissed:

Unfortunately this comes at the cost of Petrov and Lee. Maybe if we get a few good results with this solid formation we can push the boat out a bit.

Not too soon obviously, or it'll all turn into Wigan (h).
