Half time
Seems like a minor thing but at half time can we not send one of Coyle's hangers on to run a proper warm up for the subs? Watford, like most clubs I've seen, sent a trainer or whoever on with the subs to give them at least an organised run.
Most of half time for our subs seems to be spent chatting or trying to hit the crossbar.
I know it's a small thing, but to me, just shows yet more unprofessionalism.

What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

Don't be daft the fat controller's chain eating pies at half time!Andy Waller wrote:Seems like a minor thing but at half time can we not send one of Coyle's hangers on to run a proper warm up for the subs? Re: Half time
Sammy Lee used to do the same. Wasn't happy with it then either. Unless everythings focusing on getting the best results possible its bound to start seeking in to the rest of the club and as a club we'll be getting sloppy elsewhere.

I've always wondered why the subs are excluded from the half-time team talks.Mar wrote:Sammy Lee used to do the same. Wasn't happy with it then either. At present, with Uncle Owen's Terrific Tales it's probably a good thing, but generally (& most, if not all) teams do it, just strikes me as odd.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Re: Half time
Finally someone who thinks the same! I talked to my dad and other friends who are Trotters fans and they find it totally normal...

What's the point? He only bring subs on after about 75 minutes anyway so they will have cooled down by that time!

Re: Half time
He does seem to be making fewer and later subs this season. Thought we had the world's best squad, all hand-chosen by OC?
