Today I'm neither Angry nor Happy about....

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Not angry or happy, rather sad. Went to Chorley Hospital today to see one of our regulars who has only got days. His wife died about 12 months ago and he hasn't been right since. Got heart failure and nothing they can do. He recognised us and we'd have snatches of conversation and the smile and mischievous twinkle in his eye was still there, but then he'd sigh and fall asleep again. Was a regular in a few pubs, heavily involved in his church, with the local drama stuff and his daughters seemed almost overwhelmed at the breadth of people who had been to see him. Really sad. Was really nice to talk to him and let him know what was going on, but there was that horrible moment when you leave and can't say 'see you later'. Take care, Bernard :(.

It's just the hardest thing you can ever do. Thoughts are with you, mate - and well done.

Much to your credit you took the time and trouble to visit. I'm sure it made him happy.

Got it from that place in Farny, AG, but I can't remember what it's called (by the lights at the end of Long Causeway).

He's a cheeky bastard, that teacher. He's just had 6 weeks off for summer holidays, then he takes his holiday in term time so it's cheaper and the kid goes for free!!!

Nipped into Asda yesterday evening and there must have been 200 pimply youths queuing up in the electronics bit, all stood behind a makeshift gate. I didn't go close enough to them to ask why they were there in case one of the spotty bastards erupted on me. Was there a new Space Invaders due out last night or summat? :conf:

Fireplaces. The supermarkets have cornered the market in them now.

Unless there's a new brand of cheddar coming out ???
