what i would like to concentrate on in tonight's assassination of owen coyle is the fact that this time last season he had a partly justified whinge about our start versus all the top teams. This year, in an inferior league, where he has the biggest budget, we have played dross...no cardiffs, no leeds' no boro, no blackburn, no wolves...2ppg?

time to go...time to go....its 10 months late but time to go....

Apart from not knowing which club has the biggest budget in the league.Blackburn spending £8 million on a striker a few weeks ago obviously means it isn't us.

apologies blackburn (kean out); spending £8million on rhodes means we should of course be 16th or wherever we are in the league

whereas blackburn (kean out) have of course made a shocking start to the season

I agree that we haven't played big spenders Cardiff and Blackburn and the better supported Leeds and Wolves.

And I dread to think how much he's paying Petrov to sit on the bench.

... & Lee. Plus playing Mavies as a winger.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You must've missed the game. Otherwise I expect you'd understand. Not one serious shot in 90 mins at home.

Coyle needs to go, now.

... good point, other than HE had these guys sign their present contracts, so HE elected to have them here (& earning serious dosh) yet not playing them, or playing them out of position. So .... it IS sort of relevant.

How about we just stick to he is underperforming and needs to go, the evidence of that is damning enough.

Playing according to your salary is just redicoulous (or however its feckin spelt). :D

Jaffka is right. A player could earn £100k a week for us but if he isn't good enough to play, he doesn't deserve to. The money we paid for them and their wages is an entirely separate issue to the question of who should be playing.
