Fortunately, your PM contains understandable sentences. Read your last post back to yourself and put the meths bottle down.

Well most of your last posts have barely managed sentences.
I won't resort to calling you juvenile names, your inability to do sentences is plainly on display anyhow.

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
In terms of specifics eg was that a penalty, did mavis play poorly etc you can't. However assuming the radio commentary or text commentary are not a pack of lies and assuming the feedback from those at the game are not all a collective hallucination and bearing in mind that those not at the game have seen plenty of the players and coyle in action then I would suggest they are perfectly capable of having a view of the game and what is going on even if it is to some extent 2nd hand/filtered.Worthy4England wrote:Ianmooreslovechild wrote:I think worthy is trying to make the point that views of those not present during todays debacle are to some extent subservient to the views of those present. A position to which I readily subscribe inspite of it potentially meaning in a few games time that worthy will have to argue with himself being as he may be the only one present.
Of course it does help to see the game in order to hold a view but having read comments and seen the players and coyle in action for some period of time it may be possible for non attendees to have some insight nontheless.
Nearly. They're not to some extent subservient. They're totally irrelevant.
How the fcuk can you possibly comment on something you've not seen?
It's worth remembering that one of the reasons folk end up on a forum like this is that they are too far away to watch regularly and discuss with fellow whites. There are less streams this year which is a limit on access for many. If we follow your arguement to it's natural conclusion there would be weeks where hardly anyone is in a position to contribute to a discussion on here and yourself and a couple of others fortunate enough to get to the games would be left squabbling amongst yourselves.
You may tire of sharing your wisdom with an audience of 3/4 pretty quickly. I do get what you are saying worthy but this is a public forum, continually insisting that those not at a match are not allowed to express an opinion will only diminish it.
I'm assuming you do not go through life not having opinions on things that you werent present to witness first hand. That would be a quite unique and impoverished way to exist. But then you clearly own a computer which is a massive source of 2nd hand info and I expect you have a radio and a TV so perhaps you do occasionally express opinions based on prior knowledge and the reports of others.

No arguement with that although of course there will be a few people who see a game but arent very good at analysing it.Worthy4England wrote:Nowt to do with super fan.jaffka wrote:Ah so we are now into that old super fan opinion! That one persons view is vastly greater than another.
I'd take the view of someone who's seen something over the view of someone who hasn't.So yes, as someone who saw yesterday's game, my view is certainly better than yours. It's still only my view, and others who were there might disagree with it. But quite frankly your view ain't worth tuppence - you didn't see it.
I was reduced to following on text updates and the radio commentary.
The impression I had was that they controlled midfield (they had 5 against our 2 plus 2 halves) they created a lot of chances. We knocked it long because we couldnt play through midfield. Some of these stuck with NGog who gave us a foothold but not with KD who was knocking it down toplayers who werent getting near enough to him.
As often happens we conceded after halftime (albeit a soft penalty) and coyle did his usual tactic of 442 and more flair players up top mixed with hit and hope which did work against Blackpool once but that is some time ago.
Oh and Warnock looked good which reminded me of Ricketts coming back in full of energy and effort before the general malaise dragged him down.
I wasnt there so that's a second hand view. Could anyone who was at the match fill in any other salient points that I missed in my absense ?
Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
Just watched the penalty. What the feck was Knight doing? He had the lively Zaha running at him so he backed up into the penalty area and made a stupid tackle that would be an embarrassment for a pub team defender. Yes Zaha may have gone over easily but you muppet Knight!

Phil Gartside Does he not have a clue?BWFC_Insane wrote:The only thing that tests imagination is how people like W4E and myself could see how shite Coyle was last season yet folks like you couldn't.jaffka wrote:Right thanks, so we are now discussing imaginary teams winning games?
Think it shows who knows what's going on and who doesn't have a fecking clue which way their shoelaces should be tied!
Or perhaps it's a business to him where money can be made without being in the Premier League.
Why do you think Gartside has let Coyle stay in work as one of the experts who knew Coyle was never good enough?
Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
Are you not capable of working that out? FFS Garty employed him, bulled him up as the next superman and will fall on his sword if he sacks him!Martin_Cruise wrote:Phil Gartside Does he not have a clue?BWFC_Insane wrote:The only thing that tests imagination is how people like W4E and myself could see how shite Coyle was last season yet folks like you couldn't.jaffka wrote:Right thanks, so we are now discussing imaginary teams winning games?

The one thing you fail to grasp so let me help you, Coyle is a second rate wanker who could not manage to piss in a pot without hitting the wall!! Always as been but we were all blind till we saw the true ral person after the stoke debarcle.

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
first match of the season for me yesterday.
quite enjoyed it
we could/should have won.
when Eagles isnt on a going day (yesterday)it seems we lack creativity.
Andrews Spearing look solid. Knight looked heavier (as did one or two others) than he did last year.
Warnock looks a decent acquisition.

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
Can't remember anyone else commenting on this. Towards the end of the half time interval, Bolton came out early, complete with a coach, armed with cones. He set them up, and the entire team engaged in that five meter shuttle run thing that they do in the pre-game warm-up (for those who don't know, it consists of starting in various stances [facing backwards, facing sideways, on your toes, things like that] before twisting and sprinting for the end cone).
I've never, ever seen anything like that before (that being the first team coming out early to do an EXTRA warm-up). Now, I'm no expert, but surely it's pointing to a lack of fitness in the squad, or a lack of energy, or something? It just hints at a general lethargy in the team...

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
We did it last week. its cos we keep conceding straight after half time. which we havent done this week or last.
Seems to me like coyle needs to be able to pick another outfield player cos he needs two tacklers/three creative types/skd and another up top. he wants to pick 452
