Me too. He warms the cockles of my heart.
On a slightly more poignant note, I believe that West Ham are still feeding millions of spondulicks into Sheff U on the back of the legal case {Tevez and some other illegal Argie}, and look where they are presently. All this talk of bouncing straight back up into the Premiership is over-rated. It needs to be made absolutely sure that a spiral into the lower depths doesn't commence. Forget the Premiership, we need to concentrate on staying in the Championship right now.

For the first time in an absolute age, I'm jealous of West Ham!

West Ham give me a slightly sick feeling in my stomach, purely on the basis is that their success will from late August show us all how wrong we were about several of our players. There have been times where a lot of Bolton fans (myself included for some) called for the likes of Nolan, Taylor, Jussi, Vaz Te, and O'Brien to be shown the door. Some we said were past it, some we said had lost their form and wouldn't get it back, some we said would never live up to their potential, and some we said didn't put in enough effort. It goes to show on recent form at West Ham and other clubs, we were wrong, and these guys can and currently are making the grade as Premiership players. It's all about getting the recipe right.

It's also painful as it clearly underlines that Owen Coyle isn't a good cook, and is more suited to knocking up a microwave lasagne. It might be alright the odd night once in a blue moon. But having one every night makes you feel sick and gives you a terrible case of the shits.

We need a new chef. I need some coffee.

Surely it'd be Gordon.

He's a chef. And he's played football......

And he likes to swear. And take his shirt off.

From the BBC website:

Bolton Wanderers

• Bolton are vying for a third win in five league outings.

• They have conceded a penalty in each of their last three games, two of which were lost.

• Owen Coyle's side have mounted 109 goals attempts, and committed 107 fouls, which are unsurpassed totals in the Championship.

Leeds United

• Ninth-placed Leeds are chasing a fourth straight win in all competitions, and third on the bounce in the league; last achieved in December 2010.

• Neil Warnock's side have squandered eight Championship points from winning positions; only Burnley match that.

• Aidan White is set to make his 100th club career appearance

This'll be my first home game this season. It'll be shite.

I'm particularly looking forward to the train journey from here (L**ds), which will be full of dirty L**ds.

Thoughts from my Leeds supporting mate:
Our first 11 is pretty strong,we've just got no back-up, if our new hero El Hadj or "Dioufy" gets injured then we're in trouble, which says a lot really! He'll be up front playing off Becchio again, prob have the old, (old Sheff Utd) guard in midfield Tonge & Brown. Not much pace there tbh, it'll be a workmanlike job, as long as you lot don't mind a bit of route one you may be all right.

Best player of ours to look out for is Rodolph Austin, Jamaican beast who's been a great signing, he can play the enforcer or get forward & score. He scored for the reggae boys in their defeat of the USA.

Defence has looked good for us, but they're all young lads, prone to the odd mistake - Aidy White scored a great goal against Everton & will get forward. Tom Lees had an Under 21 call up & got a cap the other week. Byram's a 19 year old academy product he's been thrust into the first team due to injuries. Any pace will come from White & Byram bombing on.

So yeah it looks positive but a lot of the lads are either young and still learning or old heads who are great one game, shite the next, so I'll go for a score draw. 1-1
Hmmm...
Everything but the game: Because it's not just a game, it's a way of life.

It's at home. We've still got the squad that 8 games ago was predicted to go straight back into the Premiership. It's only autumn, with blustery showers, so the pitch will be perfect, nice and skimmy. We can't lose.

If you watch the first half of one of the season review DVD's we used to put out when we were good, you'd be forgiven for thinking Pedersen was the Danish Cristiano Ronaldo.

Soccerbase tells me it was probably 04/05. He'd scored 7 times by November.

I'm going out on a limb and saying we'll have a turn-a-round tonight. Time for the whole club, players, manager and all to stand up and be counted. If it doesn't happen tonight, why will it ever? A convincing win or I'll jump on the rose-tinters and buy a marker pen.
