Is it all that bad?

Post by Andy Waller » Tue Oct 02, 2012 8:33 am

Looking at the table, we're only two wins off the leaders and there's a long way to go this season, so is it all that bad??

That's also true! Personally, I think we need a change, we've got good players but they seem so disorginised.

No we're not, we're six wins in a row away. To be up at the top we need to average two points a game and the only way to do that is win six on the bounce.

Seem to remember a similar thing last season, except week by week, the gap never seemed to change !

Something tells me in 2 months with this knob in charge we'll 'only be 5 straight wins off a play-off place' and it all wont seem so bad.

Folk have been saying for a year that it'll be reet and we should give him a few more games.
Me, I think with this prick still in charge there's a real possibility that we'll get relegated again this year.

The very fact we're in this division is reason enough.

The fact we're 18th.....Jeezus

Home form not good enough, away not good enough, Players good enough equals manager needs to "fook himself right off". Get rid sharpish like ....

I thought it was 10 games, but we couldn't get it after 10 games 2 games ago, so he should have gone then. (ignoring that he should have gone a year ago).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Get the rose tinted glasses off and take a look at the situation.
We cannot keep a clean sheet. This is a fundamental issue, keep a clean sheet you are guaranteed a point, score one and it's 3.
We have been on a terrible run and it isn't changing.

Coyle needs to go on a Wembley tour and get back the fecking spoons he put in the goals as we've been shit since.

I have zero faith left in Coyle and know we're going nowhere but down under him, however..I actually really enjoyed tonights game. For all the maddening things OC does, our games this season have largely been entertaining affairs

They always will be because he cant organise the defensive side of the game. He did promise to entertain but it no longer puts smiles on faces. There is nothing wrong with being organised and defending as a team. It's not impossible to do this and entertain aswell.

Oh aye, dont get me wrong - I'd be happy for dull 1-0 wins all season. Just answering the question and as a long time Wanderer I've certainly had it much much worse than now.

Tonight was excellent in parts. Forest was the same. Watford and Palace were awful

No. Thats the maddening thing. In the past I remember watching crap players in crap teams losing to other crap teams. Now I'm seeing a good group of players being made to look a crap team by their own manager!

We're nine games into the season and already seven points off second.

We have to win 6/7 games in a row to get back to our two points per game target.

Four penalties conceded in a row.

One goal from open play in six.

In our games against the current top ten (against 6th, 9th and 10th), we've taken one point from a possible nine. We played two of them at home.

We've won back to back league games once since 2010.

Third bottom Millwall could overtake us with a win in a relegation six-pointer on Saturday.

Yes it is quite bad.
