Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

No, mate. That was that PPI stuff. These 4uckers have written to me saying I've not paid enough at 40 per-fecking-bastard-cent!!!!boltonboris wrote:Haven't you only just got a meaty cheque through the post after paying too much?
And as if that's not enough for one morning, last week I created a spreadsheet for my new boss (a Kraut) who's just presented it back to us all, after him having done no more than alter the font and change some numbers to show in red, as all his own work. He even included "So, what I've done here is................

Good job I'd BC'd my colleagues in on the original, eh?

Had this for the last four years. I'm PAYE but for some reason the information issued by my Payroll Dept. (next door to HR - the bastards) doesn't marry with the Tax code I have. I owe nearly 3 grand in tax which I'm having to pay off over the next 3 years.

I did, so it might have been me.boltonboris wrote:Haven't you only just got a meaty cheque through the post after paying too much?

They got me on "underpaid" when I filed January, so I filed last years, as soon as my P60 came through in April, to find out they owed it me all back (and some)

When did bungalows with plastic roofs, one bedroom flats, and converted abbatoirs become "Holiday Cottages". Am I the only person on the planet that thinks a cottage should be a cottage not a steel-framed glass fronted one roomed open plan extension stuck on the end of a visitor's centre?
Other delightful cottages include a concrete bunker and what looks like a garden shed. The garden shed is even 'no dogs allowed' - don't worry, I wouldn't want my dog going anywhere near the place!

That's not a leopard!

I got told I overpaid by just shy of a couple of grand this last time out. From the previous year.
