Mmmmmm. I wonder how many lazy bastard journo's are checking us out to file copy using our opinions on who's going to get the job? If tomorrows Sun rages 'Di Canio out of running' or 'Bolton shortlist Neville' ; we might get an idea......

I think we should get away from the ex-player mentality...89bwfc89 wrote:I've been waiting for this to come up...thought I'd get laughed out for suggesting it!CrazyHorse wrote:D'you know, I've got a funny feeling that our captain might be fast-tracked into getting his coaching badges.

One of the criteria I look for in a candidate is your disapporoval.
He's not really a fascist... it's a complex cultural thing.
Apparently he used to write a column in Corriere della Sera regularly denouncing the idiocy of racism.
fascism doesn't have its roots in racism... so - no real surprise there...

Agree, I'm not saying this is what I want to happen just that it's something I could see happening!thebish wrote:I think we should get away from the ex-player mentality...89bwfc89 wrote:I've been waiting for this to come up...thought I'd get laughed out for suggesting it!CrazyHorse wrote:D'you know, I've got a funny feeling that our captain might be fast-tracked into getting his coaching badges.
Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
two ideas firstly what about David Lee i mean the U18s have been doing really well or has he gone along with Coyle and co as well. second note and i am not on the wind up here but i fear that someone very unpopular is bound to get the job not mentioning any names but somebody that 99% of the people would not want to be are next manager

And? Coyle has gone. It's acceptable to have preferences. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be a better manager than Coyle, but for reasons outlined above I'd prefer someone else, I'm 100% sure you would too!thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:A fascist?mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:I don't think we'd get him, but Di Canio is very much in the mould I am looking for.

The odds have really come down on Solskjaer - he was 10/1 an hour ago, now he's 6/4 in some places!

Mind you, this is probably based on Marc Iles going on TalkSh*te and saying that "a few people have mentioned Solskjaer"
