Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
The scousers can't understand why they don'y win every week. Perhaps it's another conspiracy:
Though it's not fair when they have to play bully boys like Stoke. Stronger action is needed from their captain:
Or maybe there's another reason they can't score:Week in week out, I See us, I see other clubs, no club is being targeted quite like ourselves. I can't believe people don't think the league is fixed and there's no corruption it's ridiculous. So the government can cover up 96 deaths for over two decades but the FA can't swing a few games, yeah......okay.
.the red nets are not helping
Though it's not fair when they have to play bully boys like Stoke. Stronger action is needed from their captain:
It could be that they are just deluded:There was a 5 minute spell in the second half when we were kicked off the pitch, that culminated in Johnson being barged off the pitch. At that point I would have been quite happy if Gerrard had just taken the players off the pitch in protest, thats how bad I thought it was today
When football meets anti-football, a 0-0 result is likely as they cancel each other out.
Watching the game was like an extended battle scene from Lord of the Rings - the graceful, skilful good guys up against the big, lumbering (and ugly) orcs.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that most of Stoke's players were made in an underground cave, just like in the film.

Brilliant. They should definitely appoint an independent panel of Liverpudlians to investigate.

Even if he is dodging blame for their performances at the moment, Rodgers reputation is being seriously damaged by this programme.

Is it? How many people have watched it? I haven't, and I guess I'm in the minority. All I can gather is he has a weird portrait of himself, and he's tried some Derren Brown (clue, no-one's name is written in the envelopes).

I'll qualify that for you: he doesn't have a weird portrait of himself, it's just weird that he has a portrait of himself.Prufrock wrote:Is it? How many people have watched it? Its on C5 so I dont suppose many have seen it but its getting circulation in all the red tops at the moment. There's a reason that a certain 'omerta' exists in football dressing rooms - most team talks are meaningless 5hit!Prufrock wrote:Is it? How many people have watched it? Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
I saw that Being Liverpool programme for the first time last night after seeing Athers' recommendation on Facebook.

I love the deafening silence after every David Brent-esque thing Rodgers says. My girlfriend has no interest in or knowledge about football whatsoever and thought it was satire. (Right down to the Scouse fans with subtitles.)

And what was all that bollocks with the three envelopes... stunning man management, not.
But the constant OK-ing from Rodgers, OK, is getting like, OK, so tedious that I might, OK have to give it a miss next week, OK.
