Most exciting thing so far this week was a wee mouse running out in front of my car (it made it) and my dog again trying to make friends with a hedgehog!
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!

Somebody at work, whom I'd previously considered a bright sort, has just posed the question to a small quorum of us hanging about the coffee machine "how do 'they' get the seeds out of seedless grapes?" I mean really...

I seem to recall reading once that seedless grapes actually do have seeds but genetic modifications prevent a hard shell from forming round the seed. Of course, this could be rubbish. I was pretty sure that seedless fruits are grown from cuttings not seeds, so do not need seeds to reproduce. Now I discover they actually have a method of removing seeds....

one word: cultivars.

(or in the case of my thick work mate, fifteeen words: they must have a machine that somehow gets the seeds out without damaging the grapes)

Genetic Engineering !! God bless it.

Why isn't the maiden dressing herself?

Before you know it, you'll be spread eagled on the bed handcuffed to the headboard and she'll get pregnant. She'll demand paternity money from you. In reality they'll hire a kid from an agency (if you demand to see it, that is), they just need the money to pay the rent on the gaffe. It's a well known trick that Londoners play on Northerners all the time. Approximately 27% of London rents are subsidised through variations of skimpy sussies on the maiden traps.

No bother. I don't know, it might be done by the guys I work for but I'm not doing it personally. Good luck!
