What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

movie night tonight... the missus had booked out "21 Jump Street"

we only got 15mins into it at the most.... and abandonned it - utter shoite...

how many times in 15mins before the endless repetition of "c*cksucker", "motherf*cker" and "suck my d*ck" just gets absolutely c*cksucking, motherf*cking, d*ck-sucking" irritating and tedious??

anyway...

had a scroll through all the stuff on the humax hard drive what we have recorded over the years - and found the Wedding Singer - which me and the missus have only ever seen half of - and my daughter has never seen..

lovely film - plus, has the lovely Drew Barrymore in it.

what's not to like? 8)

daughter went to bed glowing with romantic dreaminess and a tear in her eye (and - that was just a bit of grit in my eye!!)

well, I think it's all in the context !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Cheers, William, but it's going to have to be two hours in front of the idiot's lantern for me. My pile of unreads must be approaching four feet.

Great British Bake Off Final tonight. Brendan v John v James. James will win [NB I've been accused of being jimmyist elsewhere. :P ] which will hurt Brendan very much  . If James doesn't win it'll only be because he watched Homeland the night before and his reality adjustment knob hadn't been reset to 'bake'.

...and yes I'll be watching the Bake Off final live in preference to Poland v England. (What's happened to me? why don't I enjoy watching England anymore? :? )

I reckon John'll win it myself. He's a dark horse who while making mistakes throughout has been consistent. He's also good at turning around his failures and getting a result despite the setbacks. Brendan is too perfect for me, he's like a robot-his bakes are clinical and often look like they've been made in a factory. As for James, he plays the fool. Pretends he's making it up as he goes along when you know he's practiced every bake a million times at home.

Anyway, you're losing sight of the real issue here...Which one? Mel, Sue or Mary Berry?

Without doubt, not Mary Berry. Trouble is I don't know which one is Mel and which Sue, but the one without the glasses... she could rest my dough any time she wanted.

Mel 'n' Sue both. Sue's a big lezzer so there's something for everyone in that triptych. Mary can serve refreshments afterwards.

Not watching GBBO final...recording it, 2 episodes behind.

From what I've seen, think John will win.

Oh, so no spoiling it for Grunto then!

I've only seen GBBO by chance when I happen to have been in front of the TV when it's been on, though I do seem more drawn to it than I do England v Poland :?

but would they cancel the GBBO if it rained a bit? (possibly - who knows?? - maybe if someone left a cake out - I don't think that I could take - I mean, they may never have that recipe again...)

And it took so long to bake it, too. Oh yes. Didn't realise that they were having bother at the footie 'til just now.

It has rained, but covered by a marquee. (Yes, I know you're being facetious).
