My post was a comment on the City and United fans that I know. In general, I find it easier to associate with City fans than United fans, who, in my opinion, are arrogant and filled with a sense of self-entitlement just because they support United. They have no concept of supporting a team who doesn't win trophies every season. They have "fans" around the world who have never been to see them, who know very little about them, who "support" them simply because of their achievements.

And, to be honest, I couldn't give a shit about what team helps the national side more. Yeah, I don't like the fact that City have bought their way to the title. I reckon they've sold out and lost all identity. But United have kept their identity, and that identity, with everything that I've commented on and the sheer luck they generate, and the bias afforded them by the officials, is hateful.
I wondered if you was on medication, nothing more. Nothing resembling "personal slights", I don't think. Explain.
So you don't think asking if I'm on medication and putting "der" at the end of your post, as you might to somebody struggling to grasp that two plus two equals four, is a little out of line, particularly when unprovoked? Good to know where your head's at.

Oh, and it's "I wondered if you WERE on medication", not "was".

Apart from all of the flaws Souness has as a manager - and DSB outlines them pretty thoroughly - I just don't trust that a manager who has been out of work for so many years is going to be up to speed on transfer targets, tactics, and the opposition. That's why, even if Curbishley wanted the job, I'd be very hesitant to hire him.

Agree with this. No idea if he's any good without reading posts/wiki but he must have been out-of-the-game for a reason.

Look, whatever you think about Liverpool, (and I can hear people retching already), the fact is that Souness was the last in a line of managers, starting with Bill Shankly, in the Boot Room tradition.

The line of boot room managers was continuous promotion from within, the boot room, Paisley, Moran,Evans,fagin(?) etc all at the club through the ranks.
Souness went to Rangers, player manager and manager. Then he went back..
Possibly from a boot room, not in in the boot room tradition.
