Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Why am I seeing tweets on the B(E)N website saying Boyata has signed a 1 year loan deal?

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
if that's true - then it really would be a blot on Worthy's fine transfer thread!!!Gary the Enfield wrote:Why am I seeing tweets on the B(E)N website saying Boyata has signed a 1 year loan deal?

Boyata was a strange one for me - not sure he added much other than as a stick for Coyle to use to randomly drop other member of the back 4. That said, he started to look a bit more competent until he got the pass from Jussi? (might have been Bogdan) that was a proper hospital job and resulted in him getting injured...

He went on loan to Twente in Holland didn't he?thebish wrote:if that's true - then it really would be a blot on Worthy's fine transfer thread!!!Gary the Enfield wrote:Why am I seeing tweets on the B(E)N website saying Boyata has signed a 1 year loan deal?

He'll be a good asset at this level, undoubtedly.

I don't know. I think it's already open, and closes next month, but I'm not sure. I've been reading the link below for five minutes and I need a lie-down.Gary the Enfield wrote:When does the transfer window reopen for loans?

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Couldn't have singed a one-year loan anyway. Limited to three months outside normal transfer windows.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Apologies if this is old news - can't quite believe it's not been reported elsewhere hereon - but we seem to have made a loan signing: 22-year-old Norwich midfielder Jacob Butterfield.
From the official site:
From the official site:
Norwich midfielder signs for one month
Bolton Wanderers have signed midfielder Jacob Butterfield on a one-month loan from Norwich City.
The 22-year-old becomes Dougie Freedman’s first signing since his appointment as manager at the club.
Butterfield has played twice for the Canaries this season after joining from Barnsley in the summer, starting both matches in the Capital One Cup against Doncaster Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.
At Oakwell, he previously made 91 appearances over the course of the last three seasons, scoring eight goals in that time.
Butterfield goes straight into Wanderers’ squad for the weekend fixture against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Ah, I see. Not a thread I run towards: while I applaud the original intention of flagging up TW members' personae on this thriving new social medium, it thereafter descended into domination by the captain's wife...thebish wrote:it's been batted about on the "twitter whites" thread for a while - but this is clearly the place it should be!
