What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Went to see Skyfall last night. Got into a showing which began at 10.15pm. so didn't finish till almost 12.30am. Good use of the extra hour in my view.

It;s a Bond, so it's action before intellect, but it was v v good. Worth it, if the genre has ever appealled. Way better than the vast majority.

Now, spoilers .......

Well, I found Lock, Stock to be absolutely un-watchable spunk, so turned it off. I quite enjoyed Snatch when I saw it, and I certainly enjoyed Layer Cake, in fact, I own the DVD of that one.

I would concede that Layer Cake is a different film. It still has its nawty speak moments though.

I can't stand Guy Ritcie btw. I think he's a shit wanabee cockernee playing at gangstas through the medium of film.

Maybe a contender for quote of the year Bruce.

Anyway, C4, The American Road Trip, Obama's Journey.

Same problems as us, 10 years sooner. Essential viewing if you're interested in a future for our way of life.

Decided to watch The Godfather last night, in light of not much else I wanted to see. When you consider that it's now forty years old it says much in its favour as an excellent film. I read the book many years ago and was a bit baffledd when the film came out that the story started in the middle. Part II went back to the early years and I enjoyed (still do) all three. As gangster films go, it's still tops for me.

Possibly - I'd just tarred it with the same brush. In fact, if it is a different film then I'm pleased. It also contains one of my favourite lines. To wit: "The grub in here will make your facking bollocks tingle. Let's eat". :D

What do you know? You watched Lock Stock twice, and thought one was Snatch!

I think I'm fairly happy that I've not watched any of them. :-)

Just watched the last The Thick of It, wow. I think Ianucci was really getting something off of his chest!
Also finished Season 3 of Breaking Bad yesterday, looking forward to 4. Really wasn't feeling it with the first season, then a few episodes into season 2 I was hooked.

Used to love The OC. Sandy Cohen was always a highlight. Although you're a bit unfair on One Tree Hill. I thought it was just as, if not better than The OC. Was a bit more thought out.

Been watching Friday Night Lights recently which is similar to The OC and OTH but much more serious. It's very good, if a little bleak at times.

Agree with the comments about Skyfall. Never been a huge James Bond fan but enjoyed it a lot. The ending was fantastic.

By the way. I was listening to the wireless on the way in this morning and it played a clip from X Factor in which Gary Barlow accused someone of having "fag ash breath". What was all that about?

It was aimed at Louie after allegations he was caught sucking off one of his boyband members, Ashley.
