I wonder if we'll get the usual good run of form under the new manager? If we get 10 points in our next 4 games, I wouldn't be overly shocked and obviously delighted.

Cardiff
Leicester
Blackpool

But if we want to be up there then these are the teams to beat!

12 points from those games would be quite an achievement but who knows, beat cardiff and leicester in the home games(how long is it since we won 2 on the bounce) and who knows what might happen. At least there is now some hope for improvement. Had Coyle stayed we could easily have ended up bottom 3 after those 6 games. Still could I suppose.

If he gets 10 from those 6 games it'll be excellent.

Tough games. If we get 10 or so, it could be a springboard to get some momentum.

Just checked and Allardyce lost his first game in charge of us, drew the next, then won the next four. I'd take that......

Well, he's observed 2 games so should have some idea of where our weaknesses lie and do something to remedy them. Could be back to exciting times, but no good just winning a couple and losing a couple if we are to get back into the heady realms again. 8)

I'm expecting 12 points from the 6 games.

No surprise there. Palace don't care about Bolton and their coaches are under contract and doing a job. They're not going to change that till they have a new structure in place.

hope this isnt true... lol

In a dramatic late development last night Dougie Freedman revealed plans to raid Crystal Palace for their prize asset - their fans.

"We all know what quality the Palace fans bring to the party." said the fork-tongued Scot. "It's a bit quiet in Bolton so I thought if we transfer the Ultras to the Reebok it might inject some much-needed atmosphere into the place."

Freedman has already been linked with several Palace players but this audacious move sent shockwaves through South London. "What's next, the bloody Crystals?" asked one shocked fan, while another claimed to have already been approached about a big-money move to Lancashire.

"Dougie called me up and offered me as many whippets and flat caps as I wanted" he said. "Of course Palace refused permission for me to speak to Bolton and my job as a fan is only half-done so I'll be on the train to Bolton first thing in the morning to sign the deal."

Rumours that Pete & Alice were also set to join Freedman's new team were quashed by CPFC2010. In a statement, they said the mascot pair were "Palace through and through...until someone offers them a 3-year deal and a sack of cash. In which case, they're anybody's."
