Re: Cardiff City
He was certainly most of the difference when he came on. Scored one, had a good 'un disallowed - if he'd have taken the pengy, could've walked off with a hat-trick.Bruce Rioja wrote:Just been chatting with one of my mates who reckons that N'Gog was man of the match for the way he changed the game (I'm sticking with Knight though).Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Game changed when we stop smashing it up field lookin for the flick on, Ngog believe it or not changed the game
Once every two years ain't very good - but happy with his display yesterday.
There was also a tackle between his first booking and sending off, that on a different day might have attracted more notice...

Re: Cardiff City
Really supprised at the reaction to last night's game. Lots of people saying we were crap first half? No. Complete balls. We were fantastic, we restricted them to 1 chance for the entire first half, desperatly unlucky to conceed. Surely the first priority for DF is to sure us up defensively, he's done that in five days! and it'll only get better. The organisation of the team was first class, tactical play throughout, no-longer just "go out and play", everyone had clearly defined roles and performed them well, we dictated how the game was to be played not them (how long has that been!) they couldn't break us down at all, and they're the best in the league! After the subs our attacking play improved dramatically, Ngog took his "offside goal" like Anelka, his performance was superb, but so was the whole team. OK, Davo was a bit shit and Andrews and Prately didn't set the world on fire, but did nothing wrong, can't wait to see Holden in there. Should have been 3-0 for me, which against the league leaders with 5 days prep is amazing! I'm sure if we had Coyle it would have been 442 and weak midfield and yet another wank performance and a defeat. DF has transformed this team, this is the first time i've been "excited" by bwfc in a long time. The rest of the league better watch out because we're going to start tearing it up.
Cue crushing defeat to Leicester.

Bit heavy on the hyperbole but much the way i saw it. I was very impressed with our first half. Dull but organised and tight, the bit coyle tended to forget.Spartan2 wrote:Really supprised at the reaction to last night's game. Lots of people saying we were crap first half? No. Complete balls. Re: Cardiff City
The first half performance is what we needed last season to keep 3points or the draw but Coyle didn't do it

Race, as in black, white, afro-caribean etc. is a broad definition .... regrettably some Welsh d!ck won a case last year. The Courts deemed it that attacking anyone on the basis of an element of their existence for which they have no control opens them to this.Worthy4England wrote:I wonder if it involved sheep? Soon I won't be able to slag-off Scousers even.
You wouldn't be able to go to Cardiff as 'openly' English without risking being slagged off as Saesneg (akin to Sassenach) which is a Welsh insult for the English. It seems the lid is coming off the whole of this & it all goes one way.
Indeed the South Welsh call their Northerners Goggy's ... Gogledd being Welsh for North. The North Welsh round here just call South Walian's c#nts. It seems to save time.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Back in prehistoric times, when I was a lad, there was a saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but calling will never hurt me" Seems it went the way of a lot of other things, mainly engineered by those same mardy-arsed wankers.Bruce Rioja wrote:No, because we're not a bunch of mardy-arsed wankers. Anyway, it'd need to be seriously racist. Calling the sheep sh@ggers wouldn't cut it ... unless they've patended the act nowadays.
I shall ask.
