If I recall it properly Mike feckin' Riley taking a bung from Harry Bassett, with Holdswoth & Warhurst exiting play within the first 20 minutes ... both instigated, quite deliberately, by the human douchebag Robbie Savage.

Not that I hold a grudge.
I remember it well, but I could have sworn that the Leicester manager on that day was Martin O'Neill. I might be wrong though.

I've just checked and it was Harry Bassett. I'm losing it, big time. :?

It's my birthday today, too.

hopefully Dougie saw that when we have a striker with even the slightest bit of ability and is able to run around making runs made us a real threat and will start with Sordell instead of Davies seing as Ngog will be suspended for this one.

I think i'd be happy with the same back four they were solid...

Bogdan
Ricketts-Knight-Mills-Warnock
Spearing-Andrews
Eagles-Mavies-Petrov
Sordell

I reacon we could dick um. 3-0 us Eagles, Petrov and Sordell

Don't worry, the 'tache will take years off you.

The 2-2 was the game when both managers were wired upto heart monitors to assess their stress levels. Couldn't have been a more topsy turvey game. Didn't Ricketts score a bullet header own goal too? It's one of the best home games I've seen at the Reebok.

I've seen little evidence that Sordell possesses the qualities to play up on his own.

Davo should start against Leicester, bring him off after an hour for younger, more mobile legs and jobs a good 'un.

I do hope so. Freedman said he picks on effort in training .... so if S ordell is omitted as attacking sub for Afobi tomorrow that will be a very bad sign forthe lad.

Matt Mills will have a point to prove, having had a major fall-out with Nigel Pearson. Judging by their board, Leicester fans hate him!

Linked well and showed good movement in the summer but those werent the most intense of games. Clearly never saw eye to eye with coyle for whatever reason and seems to have been sulking ever since. It's up to him now to show he deserves a chance.
Still reckon KD will(and should) start though. I know Freedman has talked about making changes but i still wouldnt be surprised if the same 11 start as on saturday with the possible exception of spearing for pratley. That one may depend on whether freedman feels we need to press them upfield. Pratley seemed to be doing a lot of that on saturday.Almost like a defensive in the hole player? If KD plays someone else needs to help press upfield.

If Sordell's attitude has stunk in training then he should realise that Davo's performance on Saturday is a great time to buck up his ideas. He surely can't do worse. And I agree Ianmoore he looked quite handy in the Summer for GB. Actually he did more in 15 mins at Stoke than Davies did in the previous 75, it was quite noticeable how much sharper he looked than Kev.

For the first time in ages I feel positive about the club and the manager. Really looking forward to tomorrows game, its a good barometer of where we are in the promotion shake up.
