I'm not sure I understand what's going on.

You appear to be trying to have a pun-filled conversation using, I assume, Status Quo song titles.

Normally, for this sort of thing to work, the sentences in which you have craftily hidden your title have to actually make sense.

Yours do not.

Yours confused,

Can I just point out that that In The Army Now was fecking shite? Well I have anyway. That aside, I'd say that Enfield's in for a right old night of it. My bezzy mate's favourite EVER gig was Quo at Blackburn King George's, and he's no more a fan of theirs than I am.

Like I said, they're Marmite.

In the Army now was f*cking horrible. Summer of '86 and I was doing the season at Butlins Pwhelli. That f*cking song was all over the camp site. That and Marguerita Time (shudder) are what put me off their output for years.

Was going through some of my old albums last night. Everything pre Just Supposing still gets my foot tapping. On the level, Blue for you, Dog of two head, Piledriver, Quo by Quo and Quo live are just fantastic albums.

Heads down, no nonsense, 12 Bar Boogie.

Today I'm happy about...
Berkshire Haiku’s

Here’s my selection. All genuine, all written by the zen master Dan (but, TBH however, it was me what selected the two parts of each Berkshaiku from separate sources).

Now that we've invented Berkshire Haiku's, I've gone one further.
Here is a Berkshire Koan...

What is the sound of Peppa Pig frying?
......... sizzle

I'm going to leave work a happy man, now. I'm going to go home, then straight out to the pub, and I'm going to hunt down the name of today's ear-worm, which may or may not bring me some personal relief.
Thanks *sarcasm* today to Crazy Horses's work colleague the bustard, Crazy Hoss himself for starting the infection here, Bobo for extending it to other songs, and finally but not least Ohjimmyjimmy for introducing me to the wonders of peppa Pig theme tunes (shnooork)

I'm not very good at haikus but have some suggestions for the game of Fractured Berkshirisms (the joining of two independent Berkshirism sentences into one a la haiku):

you hate Duckworth i presume. thank you for not hating me

can i predict we will get 0 points from are next 3 games (including this one) we will loose 2-1 IMO with 2 draws

the second i walked in iIpicked up a strange smell. pubs with good grub are a rareity in my part of the world

they have Khan on there ludercrous. i do not think that is a word , maybe i am wrong.

My shirt arrived this morning. it was unbeleivably creased mind so i do not know what they were doing with it in the club shop but looks like they have been using it as a mop. it was basically a plastic bag made to look nice

i am one of the youngest ones on here and i cannot say that about many people

For decades they were prophets without honour in their own land. This weekend songwriters as diverse as Paul Weller, Jeff Lynne, Noel Gallagher and Brian May queued up to heap praise on them. [the Jam, ELO, Oasis and Queen - arrrgh, hate all of them too]. The band...little more than a novelty act.
Status Quo...many years of ridicule. It's... easy to associate Quo with chicken head-bobbing, ponytail naffness and that... riff, according to Adam Liversage of the British Pornographic Industry.

Widely regarded and lauded by their peers. Most succesful British Rock band. More Top 40 hits than any other band. 120 million albums sold worldwide.

I always thought they had something missing though. They needed a better 'front man'. I reckon Noddy Holder would have fit right in there :P
