Free kick Tykes 30 yards out. Well wide. Barnsley still giving as good as they get but Whites seem to be getting a grip. MD gives away another free kick but cleared. Davo gets a free kick against him but he's looking lively. They have a Davies (Simon) making it a bit confusing and our KD gets away from a yellow by the ref's generosity.

Bolton waking up now and apparently looking good. Warnock coming off, Rickets to left back? and Mears on.

Eagles sends one wide when he could have knocked it into the box. Barnsley still trying to get forward at every chance. Bolton attack getting organised a bit now. It's Craig Davies btw, and Spearing gets chopped down. We get a corner from Davo and....cleared, but we're on the up.

If ever there was a chance of a clean sheet this should be it. Barnsley seem to be playing some decent football but not a lot of threat. sounds like our goal has knocked them back a fair bit. Coinceding when you know you struggle to score tends to send heads down as we remember from last year.

Not if you're playing a team that you know always concedes goals.

Mark Davies hits the keeper and cleared but we're really pushing. Butterfield puts one over. All us now apparently but we need a second goal to keep the pressure on. N'gog through on goal but the ref gives a free kick instead of letting him go. Free kick Butterfiled and N'gog shoulders it to the keeper. Three mins to half time.

Davo clears a Barnsly corner and Eagles chases it all the way to the keeper. Another attack from us is cleared and here we go again. Free kick us in their half...but Buttefield penalised for pulling his man. Free kick the other way comes back and Davo gets it to Eagles. Barnsley come back on the break and Bogdan has to put it behind for a late corner. Bogdan commands it and ......it's half time. 1-0 the Whites.

Seems so. He's been mentioned quite a lot. As long as we're only one in front they'll be chasing it. Get another early and the floodgateds might open. Keep the defence solid and well do fine. Commentator say we look a class above when we get going. If the ref had let N'gog go on he'd have scored but he brought play back and gave the free kick.

Part Two. Douggie making the Tykes wait. 4-06....off we go...

Not many Tyke fans there apparently. Butterfield playing off Davo. Eagles has a go down the left and gets a throw. Rickets takes a free and we're putting the pressure on. Good play from us but Rickets cross is a bad one. Whites looking lively so far.

We need a big win today. If our goal difference was plus up by two or three we would jump right up the table.

we're -1, millwall b'pool and Derby are +3

Just a win will do for me.
Not too concerned at this stage of season about table, a few 1 0 wins will do.
