Re: Sussex by the sea!
When Ream came on towards the end of the Cardiff game I've never seen a player get under the feet of the others quite like it. I'll be surprised (pleasantly) if he's any different today. Spatially unaware and flimsy at best.

Re: Sussex by the sea!
Before BLT jumps in and says it had this been coyle I would be going nuts. No Rickets or Spearing? Will be interesting to see who plays where. You can only assume he's picked the side on the basis of what the oppositions strengths and weaknesses are. If they are especially good down the right perhaps ream is at LB and warnock left centre mid. Pratters I suppose cloing down up top and trying to get alongside Ngog. I hope it doesnt end up a complete disaster. It looks bold to the point of insanity at first glance.
Could it be a matter of giving players matches to assess who stays and who goes.

Mac and sou-wester weather down by the seaside apparently. We're playing in grey to match the weather.

Shirley he'd only put Ream at LB if they were proven to be absolutely fecking hopeless down the right?!Ianmooreslovechild wrote: If they are especially good down the right perhaps ream is at LB and warnock left centre mid.

The worst defender to wear the shirt since Cid.

Give the lad a chance. If it works we have a new player if it doesnt he will be on his way sooner. So from your perspective it's a win win.Bruce Rioja wrote:Shirley he'd only put Ream at LB if they were proven to be absolutely fecking hopeless down the right?!Ianmooreslovechild wrote: If they are especially good down the right perhaps ream is at LB and warnock left centre mid.

Re: Sussex by the sea!
I'd maybe put Ricketts on instead of Mears, but other than that and Pratley I'm happy. At least with these decisions you can see there could be a reason for it. Spearing may be a better player than Pratley but he's just a loanee so it's better for him to work with the players he can rely on having next week if they fit what he wants to do. Also, it's away from home so if he just wants someone to run around it might be saving the others' legs. Lots of possible reasons for the team selection!
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
