^ had my first one at Tesco at Stockport today. Only went in for a coffe but timed it just as they brought out all this freshly cooked turkey lunch with all the trimmings. Blooming delicious!

No.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Are you that negative, Bruce, because your circle doesn't fit in its little square - being a disappointment and all that?Bruce Rioja wrote:"No. No no no no no no no no no! No! No no no no no no no no no no no no no! No! Not this fecking time! No fecking way!"

Now, when I moved here to the desert I did so with the knowledge that it gets fecking hot and there are a few nasties like redbacks and saw scaled vipers. No fecker told me about spiders that can jump
I was just out the front door putting some ant slaying stuff down and I saw something jump. On second glance I realised it was a spider. I don't mind admitting it freaked me out a bit. Has anyone heard of jumping spiders?
Looked a lot like this fella...

I've never heard of them no. But thanks for freaking me out by telling me about them.
I'd have been on the next plane back home to Blighty having seen that creature with a Voodoo mask on its back.

It was only small. Not sure if that makes it freakier or not. Anyway, I've added it to my growing list of things to avoid.

Ta for the picture of a blummin' close up spider. It's alright, there aren't any chronic arachnophobes around here.
