A second goal about now could ....ooooh, Davo slides in and inches wide.

First yellow to Campbell. Free kick us. And now a corner...we're pressing well and a handball appeal turned down. Need that second goal and they break and get a corner. Davo clears.

Good passage of passing from us. One too many..Eagles looking sharp again. Our defenders seem to be working hard and well right now. Mark Davies gets a word from the ref for a bad tackle..never...Alonso seems to be getting forward well enough. Settled down a bit.

N'gog clean through but gets an offside. Fans not happy with that decision. Free kick them 28 out and...the rebound gets blasted over the bar. Careful lads, that second goal would be real handy but Ipswich waking up a bit.

Treading water a bit now and all a bit fifty-fifty. No real danger but we've lost a bit of edge. Knight clears for a corner and....N'gog clears. Both our strikers pretty deep and defending. Now's the time lads, come on...Eagles fires wide and then were back defending. Keep on top now..half time looming. Ipswich still interested and Knight has to clear. Martin and Campbell pressing and we need to gear up a notch or two. One minute extra and...half-time. 1-0.

Suspect he'll give them 15 mins to try and get a 2nd then switch to 451 with Butterfield and then CYL,not to shut up shop just to give them something fresh to deal with. We need a 2nd,dont want us making defensive subs and hanging on. If Ipswich nick a goal back BLT wil be insufferable.

Hows it sounding?

BBC have it 61% to 39% in favour of Ipswich.

Noticed that. It's a curious stat though we're up on goal attempts.Sounded like we murdered them first 20 mins
